Lisa’s POV

 

I jumped out of the car with my box of trophies, we’re finally here, new house new life. This place is huge! My mom said I'll have a room for myself here.

 

I looked around and there’s another big house right next to ours.

 

That’s where I first saw her. At that driveway, with a curious expression looking my way. I smiled at her but she just furrowed her eyebrows

 

Cute

 

Too bad she didn't smile back

“Wanna have lunch again tomorrow?” I asked her

 

I like her company, she seems lonely we’ve been here 30 minutes and she has only given a single smile

 

“I like that,” she suddenly said

 

I looked up to see her with that smile

 

It's the biggest smile I’ve seen from her so far

 

She’s really pretty

 

How her cheeks form giving me a look at that perfect teeth

 

How her eyes turn into a bit of crescent when she smiles

 

“You’re prettier when you smile,” I said to her

 

I felt some warm fuzzy sensation inside me when I saw her blush from the compliment

 

I’m a thirteen-year-old kid, I didn't know what that is back then. All I know is that I liked it, and I’d do everything to feel that again.

 

That’s when it all started

 

My unending mission to make jennie kim happy, to feel that warm fuzzy feeling inside me every day

She wants me to wear a prince charming costume from some Disney movie

 

It will be embarrassing to walk around the mall in a black and gold medieval vintage suit with a cape

 

if that’s what she wants then I guess I’ll wear it

 

But of course, I’ll first

 

I made her chase me around the house to get me to put on the costume and it’s such a happy experience

 

She’s running after me with that cheeky sweet smile of hers with the costume in her hands

 

I’m kept on running but I also kept on looking at her direction to see that wonderful sight

 

We spend 10 minutes like that running around the living area stuck in our small world

“Only if you admit it,” I stepped closer to her, making sure there’s barely any distance between us two. I can smell her expensive perfume mixed with a refreshing scent of green apple from her hair.

I can sense her erratic breathing that’s how close we are right now.

The fuzzy warm feeling inside me grew warmer combined with the loud thumping sound of my heart

I wonder if she can hear it

“A-admit what?” she said.

 

It’s cute how she tries to act cold but the blush on her cheek says it all

 

She’s always like that. She wants to appear distant but becomes sad when she’s alone

 

I want to tell her i’ll never leave her side

 

I want to tell her how much she means to me right now

 

Maybe it’s the right time

 

The right time to finally conclude what this feeling is

maybe I’m just overthinking this

 

She always blushes like that, maybe she’s just uncomfortable with the proximity

 

Maybe she likes some time alone but wants to be with me cause I'm her best friend

 

That last word hit me so hard

 

‘Im her best friend’

 

Just a best friend

 

Now I’m stuck in this situation

 

I have to say something

 

I’ll just play it safe

 

It’s better this way

 

“That your scared that your best friend would be taken away from you,” I said as I tried to keep my cool

 

What a coward

My parents are back in Bangkok to take care of our business back there and jennie out of nowhere asked my mom if she could keep me company while they’re away

 

Just me and jennie in our house

 

Well there’s some maids but still, you know

 

We’ll still be together

 

She refused to sleep at the guest room

 

“Lalisa it’s scary in that room~,” she said cutely as she burst into my room with a unicorn plushie

 

“Do you want to sleep here?” I honestly don't think I would be able to sleep with her next to me but it’s a chance I’ll gladly take

 

“Yes as long as you don't snore” she teased as she placed herself on my bed

 

I’ve spoiled this girl so much and now it’s kicking me in the

 

The moment she laid down on my bed her arms immediately went around my waist trapping me in her embrace, I’m not complaining but my brain is too happy to go to sleep

 

It’s 2 in the morning and I’m still awake it didn't help that she mumbled my name in her sleep as she tightens her hold on me

 

Is she dreaming about me?

 

Really lalisa? Are you that delusional?

 

She could have said anything and you just heard it wrong you jackass

 

After some miracle Lisa was finally able to sleep. She woke up when she felt that the arm around her waist is now gone

 

She groggily got off her bed and looked for the girl she’s missing early in the morning

 

Lisa opened her eyes and was greeted by a jennie bending over as she searched the contents of their refrigerator

 

I’d like to thank whoever designed those god damn shorts of hers

 

Lisa said to herself as she couldn't stop staring at the white and smooth legs of jennie kim

 

Lisa doesn't know what got into her when she suddenly grabbed the girl by her waist and trapped her in her embrace

 

“Good morning~,” Lisa said with her sweet voice

 

“Yah brush your teeth first. Your breath stinks” Jennie said laughing

 

“I’m still sleepy,” Lisa said with eyes still closed

 

“Then go back to bed, but first, what do you want for breakfast?” Jennie asked the half-asleep girl whos still holding her in her embrace

 

“Pancakes…” Lisa mumbled

 

“Just pancakes?”

 

“Eggs…” Lisa added

 

“That’s it?” Jennie said with an amused smile as she looks at the sleepy Lisa with her messy bed hair and eyes still closed

 

“And bacon…” Lisa said as she breaks the hug and stretched her arms

 

“Okay then,”

 

She can cook, she’s smart, beautiful and caring. How can someone be this perfect?

 

Lisa thought to herself as she kissed the other girl’s cheek

 

“Thank you nini~”

Jennie wants Milk ice cream so I’ll get all the milk ice cream in the world for her

 

Whatever she wants I’ll get

 

She’s acting very cute right now and I love this side of her

 

I leaned forward cause my brain didn't stop me from doing so

 

She looks so soft I want to touch that smooth surface that is her cheeks

 

She’s smooth everywhere

 

And those red lips seem so soft

 

Red like cherries I wonder if they taste the same

 

Even her imperfections seem perfect

 

No no wrong there are no imperfections

 

It’s been years and I’m still by her side.

 

I’m happy as long as I’m at her side

 

I’m contented with this

 

I’m okay with this

 

What a liar

 

After a few convenience stores, we finally get to buy a tub of Milk flavored ice cream and jennie kim is like a happy kid right now

 

The moment we stepped into our house she immediately grabbed 2 spoons and opened the ice cream

 

“Let’s share!” she offered me the other spoon and she immediately dug in

 

I got a spoonful into my mouth

 

It’s good, I prefer chocolate though, but hey as long as she’s happy

 

After a few spoon full she suddenly just stared at me

 

“What?” I asked her, is there something wrong?

 

She leaned forward across the counter

 

“You’re a grown woman who eats like a ten-year-old”

 

I suddenly felt a touch on my chin then another one at the corner of my mouth

 

My brain stopped processing things

 

All I know is that I’m stuck in front of jennie kim while she her thumb that contains the ice cream from my lips

 

That scene kept replaying inside my head

 

How her tongue made contact with the white cream

 

And how her lips formed as she smiled seductively after that

 

“Earth to lalisa? Are you okay?” she asked

 

That's when I finally snapped out of it

 

God, I’m so whipped for her.
