Lisa had become my best friend, she never left my side.

 

I’m very grateful for her existence

 

But middle school is where all my problems start to appear.

I’ve been catching myself staring at Lisa for a bit longer than I should.

 

Maybe it’s because of her eyes

 

 

it's as if they're inviting me to stare longer

 

Or her lips and how soft they appear

 

Maybe because I love tapping that nose with my finger when she’s being silly

 

Or maybe how her cheeks show when she smiles

 

Plus I don't even know why but when we’re within arms reach my hand always goes to her and cling on her arm

 

It also doesn't help that Lisa is naturally flirty

 

The way she talks makes me feel as if I’m her priority

 

It’s as if she’s seducing me all the time

 

‘Let’s go on a date tomorrow my cousin gave me 2 tickets to an amusement park’ Lisa said with that beautiful smile of hers. I didn't understand a word after I heard her say ‘date’

 

And why did she become that tall, she’s like a knight and shining armor when I’m with her! She’s very protective and gentle whenever we’re together.

 

I started to hate the fact that she wears clothes that are a bit boyish that it makes girls in school admire her too

 

‘Lisa is so cool’

 

‘I heard she’s very rich too’

 

‘I saw her dance one time and I thought I would pass out’

 

I overheard a few girls gossiping on the bathroom.

 

I want to throw this bucket of water on them

Exam week is coming and Lisa suggested that we study in her house along with jisoo

 

Study sessions with these two morons usually end up with them playing video games and watching tv series, my main role in this session is to knock the stupidity out of this 2 and force them to study

 

Jisoo has become one of my friends because of Lisa, she’s also fun to be around since they’re both funny and I’m trying my best to show a straight face when the two are together

 

“Lalisa let’s order chicken!” jisoo said as she stretched her arms. We’ve been studying for 2 hours

 

“Let’s get thai food!” Lisa said,

 

“No! Chicken!” jisoo argued

 

“No! Thai food!” Lisa argued

 

“Morons be quiet! Just get both! End of discussion” I yelled. I’ve been racking my brain for 30 minutes in this algebra equation I’ve been trying to solve

 

“Wait, is your dad home Lisa? He makes the best fried-chicken” jisoo said with obvious anticipation drawn on her face.

 

“No, he’s playing golf with Jennie's dad,” Lisa said

 

“Oooh speaking of golf, I have a new Nintendo Wii,” Lisa said as she stood up running to the console

 

“Yah~ you guys are just goofing off! Lalisa turn off the tv!” I yelled at the two morons who are now in front of the tv with controllers in hand.

 

“Busted~” jisoo said

 

“Come on nini~ just one game” Lisa pleads cutely, something that Jennie would never resist

 

“Just one game after that, I’ll quiz you two airheads”

 

“Ooh wait let’s play archery and the loser would be punished” Jisoo suggested

 

“Good idea! Jennie would decide the punishment” Lisa pointed in my direction, I just looked at the two clowns who are now making weird moves stances in front of the tv.

 

Lisa was leading at first but based on her history with games and bets, this game would make a sudden turn in favor of jisoo

 

I have to think of a good dare

 

The possibilities are endless

 

A kiss? Just the thought of it makes my face heat up

 

No that would be weird

 

Maybe I can ask for that black jacket she always wears

 

No no, she looks so good in that, I like seeing her in that

 

Hmmm

 

After a few minutes, the winner of the bet is jisoo as expected

 

“Okay, so what’s the punishment for Lisa?” Jisoo asked excitedly as they sat back down

 

“Yah~ remember I’m your best friend!”

 

“Don't worry, I’m sure you can handle this,” I said with a smile

 

It’s nothing really

 

I just decided to take advantage of the situation

 

“Accompany me shopping this weekend after the exams,” I said with a grin. It’s nothing new she always goes with me to the mall.

 

“Wait that’s boring, think of something fun,” jisoo said with a dejected look on her face

 

“No no that’s what Jennie wants” Lisa bantered brightly

 

“Don't be so happy there Manoban, I’m not yet done,” I said with a sly smile on my face

 

“Ooo please do continue” jisoo leaned enthusiastically

 

“I’ll decide on what you’ll be wearing,” I said with a grin

 

Lisa just looked at me with a confused look

 

“What are you going to make her wear?” jisoo asked

 

“It’s a secret, don't worry I’ll take a lot of pictures,” I said with a grin

 

It’s not bad really, I just remembered that I saw this ad on facebook for a costume store for adults

 

I’ll make her wear a Knight and shining armor suit

 

Or a prince charming costume

 

I don't know, I’ll decide later

 

“I’m scared nini,” Lisa said nervously

The exams are very hard but thankfully I managed to confidently answer the questions, I saw jisoo struggling a lot while I could hear Lisa grunting loudly

 

“Ready for tomorrow?” I asked Lisa

 

“What are you planning?” Lisa asked

 

“You don't answer a question with another question, Lisa, answer me first!” I said as I walked faster

 

We’re on our way to the school gate to wait for our family cars

 

“Fine, I’m ready for joining you to where you want to go, I’m not ready for what you want me to wear,” Lisa said honestly

 

I just laughed when I heard that

 

“It’s nothing embarrassing don't worry, I’ll be with you the whole day I don't want to be seen with a fool,” I told her

 

“Good good”

The next day

 

“YAH! I’m not gonna wear that!” Lisa yelled

 

“Come on you’ll look cool on this!” I gestured her the costume

 

I decided to make her wear the prince charming costume, Why? Because I think it’s hot

 

The costume was black with gold lining a typical costume for a Disney prince

 

After chasing this moron I finally got her to wear this costume and all my hopes are right, She looks dashing! This is such a childhood dream becoming a reality! I’ll go on a date with prince charming!

 

“If only my dad would let me get the horse back in our ranch” I mumble as I look at her from head to toe

 

“We have a Ferrari that has a horse in the logo”, Lisa said with an amused look on her face

 

“No~ that’s not what I used to dream about when I was a kid!” Jennie said with a frown on her face

 

Lisa just laughed at her best friends whos been acting like a kid right now

“This embarrassing~” Lisa said as she face palmed, people have been looking at her but Jennie's been enjoying this so far, the girl has clung to Lisa and told her to treat her like a princess for the whole day

 

“What? They’re just jealous cause you look cool” Jennie said with a huge smile on her face, obviously the girl is on cloud nine right now

 

“Where do you want to go now your highness?” Lisa asked Jennie with a gentle man’s gesture making the other girl’s face red

 

Jennie’s been acting differently today, she hid her usual cold attitude and bad girl attitude and just lived in the moment, It was her childhood dream becoming a reality.

 

Lisa took care of jennie the whole day, offered her hand when the girl needs it

 

Carried all the girl’s shopping bags

 

Told her how beautiful she is every time she goes out of the fitting room after trying out dozens of clothes.

 

And of course, Jennie took a lot of pictures to make these memories last forever

 

“Which one should I get?” Jennie murmured as she looked at the 2 dresses she just picked

 

“Get them both, you look beautiful in both of them my princess” Lisa grinned while jennie blushed haaard, the sales assistant just looked at them with a smile as if she knows what’s going on between the two

 

Highschool

 

“Nini~” Lisa yelled on the corridor

“Yah Manoban what do you want?” Jennie said irritably

 

They’re a few meters apart, Lisa ran to Jennie and gave her a back hug stopping the girl from walking away

 

“sorry~,” Lisa said as sweetly as she possibly could

“It’s okay, go back there,” Jennie said coldly

 

Jennie caught Lisa flirting with a certain transfer student from Australia. She knows she has no right to be mad but she really can't stop herself from getting jealous. Lisa was all smiles, while that girl was gushing over her.

 

“Are you jealous nini?” Lisa whispered to her ear while even tightening their hug

 

Jennie swears she could feel her ears burning after that

 

Lisa is famous due to the girl’s dancing skills, aside from that she’s a very clingy and humble person that’s why girls usually take advantage of the girl’s personality

 

Jennie hits Lisa using her elbow and the other girl immediately let go of her due to the pain it inflicted

 

“Jealous? Of what?” Jennie asked with a straight face but she knows she about to waiver due to Lisa’s action and that smile she hates the most

 

“Of that new student,” Lisa said with a smirk

 

“You’re kidding right?” Jennie said with a glare, continuing her act

 

“Okay okay, I’m just kidding please stop glaring at me,” Lisa said with a smile on her face

 

“Wipe that smile off your face Manoban” Jennie’s continued her glare

 

“Only if you admit it,” Lisa said as she stepped closer to Jennie leaving a small distance between them

 

“A-admit what?” Jennie tried her best to act cool but the distance makes her uncomfortable, they’re so close she could count Lisa's eyelashes

 

“That your scared that your best friend would be taken away from you,” Lisa said with a smug smile on her face

 

“Shut up!” I yelled as a pushed her face with my palm

 

What a dense moron!

 

“You told me you’ll join me at the library and you said you’ll be busy with practice but then you’re just flirting with that new student” I don't have the right to be jealous but I think any best friend would be mad if your best friend ditched you for something trivial, someone trivial

 

“We just finished practice when she approached me, please don't be mad,” Lisa said as she moved closer then side hugging the angry girl knowing that the gesture would make the girl relax

The two are at the rooftop at the Manoban’s residence, stargazing
