Growing up in the mortal realm after having fled her village which was under attack by the dark warlocks, Seo Yulyi has learned to hide her Imani ways. Existing to evade the Tygoni, she leads a quiet life in her little cottage at the edge of her little town, with her grandmother, Mimi, being the only tie she has to her old life. 

Then a new boy, Kim Taehyung, moves into town and somehow Yulyi gets stuck showing him around. He's sweet enough, even a little funny...but strange. He makes her Imani insticts burst to life in a way she's never felt before. On top of that, she's having that dream again. The one where she's stuck in her old village and "trophies" of her dead family hang on the belt of a blood-thristy Tygoni. And an empty spot for a new trophy flashes before her frightened eyes.

At least, she thinks it's a dream? Because her Mimi starts rambling about the Tygoni. And this strange boy with his fuddled past won't leave her alone.
