Beep… beep ... beep… a steady beat on the side greets Kwon Eunbi as she wakes up from her very long, and dreamless sleep. Her eyes blinked a few times, trying to adjust itself to the light from outside the window. The drapes were open wide too, so it didn’t help with the bright sun rays immediately shining inside the room.

When the 39 year old woman finally got used to the brightness of her surroundings, she looked around to figure out where she was. She noticed herself lying down on a hospital bed, attached to an IV drip and a heart monitor.

Though, the room looked too luxurious to be a normal hospital. The walls were beige, and she was surrounded by white marbled floor. In front of her, a large TV screen was mounted on the wall. It looked like she was in the VIP hospital room. And that seemed to confuse her even more.

The woman tried to wrack her brain on why she would be in a hospital. The last thing she could remember was… honestly, it was all very blurry. 

She was interrupted from her musings when the door opened and a nurse walked in. The nurse seemed surprised to see her. “Oh? You’re awake! I’ll need to alert the doctor. Would you be alright to wait?”
