Knock! Knock!
"Come in!" Chaewon yelled, giving her full attention to the papers on her table.
Her secretary entered the room. "What is it?"
"Good morning, ma'am. I just want to remind you about the important meeting with the investors tomorrow."
"Okay, I'll remember that. Thank you," Chaewon said, flashing her 'once in a blue moon' smile. "But how about today?"
"You've already attended all the meeting for today so it's free time for you, ma'am." 
"Really? Did not notice that." Chaewon mumbled. "Thank you for reminding me. You may now go."
The secretary formally bowed and left. Few minutes after, Chaewon received a call.
"Hello? Who is this?"
"Hey, Chaewon!" The girl spoke in English. 
"... Claire?"
"Yupp, I'm that girl," The lady confirmed.
"C-Claire!" Chaewon adjusted to her seat. "H-How did you-"
"Got your number? Well, the last time we met is when you're drunk, and you kinda gave me that."
"Oh, really?" Chaewon slowly nodding, mentally facepalming. 
She's not that 'school and home girl'. Actually, most of her nights back then are spent on various bars... And Claire is one of the many girls she met there. With that looks, intelligence, background and of course, that charisma, there are tons of boys and girls crushing on the heiress at her former school. But out of all of them, Chaewon still prefers to meet someone at clubs, that way she'll be anonymous. If ever she got into an accident or the girl gets clingy, she can easily escape. She's just there for fun, anyway.
"So," Claire started in a flirty tone. "I just called to let you know that I'm in the country... Actually, I went here for you."
Chaewon took a huge gulp. Oh no, she's one of the clingy types. "W-What are you saying?"
"You know what I mean," The girl giggled. "When will we go out again? We can have some fun, eat dinner together, show me the town. Anything actually... I just want to be with you."
Another mental facepalm. What should I do? Chaewon thought. No! She's a Kim, she doesn't back out.
"You know, you're right," The heiress said, gathering all her confidence. "I... actually missed going out with the most beautiful girl I've ever seen."
When Chaewon heard the other girl on the line gasp, it formed a smirk on her face. Her lines are still 'it'.
"Why are you surprised?" She asked. "Haven't you looked in the mirror ever in your life?"
"I... C-Chaewon-"
"Send me the details... When, where, everything. I'll go."
"Shouldn't you check your schedule first? I mean, what if you're busy?"
"Nah," Chaewon lightly shook her head. "I will never be busy for someone as special as you."
And the heiress ended the call. I didn't end it properly, she'll message me for sure. 
"Are you busy, Ms. Kim?" A voice asked. 
Chaewon looked at her door. 
 

"Eunbi-imo!"
The heiress rushed to the entrance of her office to greet the older.
"You didn't tell me you're coming," Chaewon said, guiding Kwon to sit on the chair in front of her desk. "I thought you're busy with your own business?"
"I am, but I'm already on my way to our mansion so I just decided to pass by." 
"Oh... Coffee?" Chaewon offered.
Eunbi smiled. "I won't decline."
"Wait here," The heiress held her 'wait sign' and went out to grab two cups. 
While waiting, Chaewon's phone who is resting on the table rang. Eunbi got curious and opened the new message.
 

8 pm tonight, at xxx-xxx-xxx. See you~

"Imo-"
"Who is this, young lady?" Eunbi asked with a hint of seriousness in her voice.
"Who?" Chaewon placed the drinks on the desk before looking at her phone. "Ah~"
"Don't do that, answer me... Who is this?"
"Relax, Eunbi-Imo," Chaewon replied, sitting back. 
"How can I relax if I saw this? Let me remind you Chaewon-ah... You're freaking taken!" Eunbi scolded.
"I'm not!"
"Well technically, you are," The older reminded and let out a sigh. "I'm just telling you to not let things get more complicated than it already is."
"Don't worry, Eunbi-Imo," Chaewon said after drinking from her cup. "Claire is just for fun. I'll go to her just because I'm bored, nothing else. Besides, I will tell her to leave me alone after this one."
"Leave you alone?" Her aunt chuckled. "Can't you see how attached she is? She even sent an 'I love you' with a heart."
"So? Yes, I guess she loves me," Chaewon clicked her pen. "But I don't."
"Fine, do whatever you want. Just don't put the Kim Empire into a crisis." Eunbi said. "By the way, how's... Our plan?"
"It's doing just fine, Imo," Chaewon smirked while scanning and signing some reports. "My father's letting me do almost all the work... Little did he know that he's putting his venture into a deep, deep quicksand. That's one of the main problems for him, he trusts everyone so much."
Kwon is just smiling and nodding.
"By the time that he realizes, he's going to need major help. The only way to revive the empire is through my big project, and to get that from me, he must give something in return. He will be forced to give up the CEO seat and the whole company... And he? He will be left with nothing."
Eunbi slow clapped. "I have truly raised an heiress."
"No," Chaewon disagreed. "You have raised a queen..."

"Really? Ms. Ahn's not going to work for almost a week now? We didn't know that," One of the girls in the Arts & Design Department whispered. 
"Yes, I'm telling the truth!" Sooyoung blurted out. "And do you all want to know what I found out? I heard Ms. Lee talking to Ms. Miyawaki earlier about a potential leave! Isn't that too suspicious?"
The rest of the people hearing her stories looked at each other, sharing their reactions to this gossip. Suddenly, they saw a figure walking closer to them and they all stiffened and their bodies are all glued up to the chairs.
"Do you all wanted to hear another one?"
"M-Ms. Jung, I-I think you should stop-"
"No, no, this is a better one," The accountant violently shook her head. Her audience just can't help to look down due to fear and embarrassment. "I overheard- well, I actually listened to a conversation between Ms. Lee and Ms. Ahn herself through the phone. I found out that one of the reasons why she doesn't go to work is because she's conscious of our looks to her every time she's with Ms. Kim."
Sooyoung laughed hysterically but no one followed her.
"Why is no one laughing or smiling? It's so funny-"
"What's funny there?" A voice asked.
