(I imagine IZ*ONE in violeta era :))

A brunette was pacing around and around in a circle in worry. She couldn’t believe that this was happening to her. She was supposed to be studying with her friends, enjoying some coffee and sweets right now. But here she was stuck on a rooftop with no other than the school’s robot.

”Can you stop walking like that? You’re making my head dizzy just watching you.” The raven head comments but she’s busy looking at her camera.

”Well sorry if I’m panicking right now. I don't get why you're not reacting like me. Oh wait, it's because you're a robot!” Eunbi didn't mean to be rude but she is in a crisis and the younger girl is not helping with her blank face. Hyewon paid no mind the insult and just thinks of a way to help them.

”Do you have a hairpin?” Hyewon asks her and even though Eunbi was angry she takes a hairpin from her hair that she luckily has. Hyewon takes it and goes to the doorknob and starts trying.

Trying to unlock it with skills she doesn’t have.

”Do you know what you’re doing?” Eunbi asks as she crouches beside the girl. She feels hope now and she doesn't like it because hope can lead to disappointment.

Hyewon just shrugs in reply and this just scared the brunette, “You have no idea what you're doing! You might make things worse!” Eunbi was about to take back her hairpin when they both hear a clicking sound, they both pause and stare at each other before Hyewon slowly turns the knob.

click.

It's still locked.

Hyewon gives back the hairpin while Eunbi just sighs in defeat. She sits down and leans her back on the door. “What are we going to do?”

”We can talk to pass time.” Hyewon suggests as she takes a seat beside the older girl but not to close to her either. Eunbi thinks about it and decides it’s better than doing nothing and worrying about the problem. It’s also probably better than she got stuck here with Hyewon than being all alone.

”Okay then.” Eunbi says, “Why aren’t you panicking like me? Or what any normal person would do?”

“Well... I see no point in panicking because it will bring me no good for my mind and heart. I was taught to stay calm in these kind of situations.” Hyewon answers calmly.

”Isn’t anyone going to be worried for you? You’re technically missing right now.”

”I guess not, my parents are working right now to even think about me but that’s fine. It’s understandable because they’re busy. How about you? Do you have someone special who’s worrying about your where abouts?”

Eunbi snickers at the returned question, “If someone special, you mean my parents and younger sister than ye- Oh frick! My sister! I was supposed to pick her up after school!” Eunbi stands up and tries again to unlock the door. She can’t leave her younger sister waiting like that. Hyewon could see Eunbi’s stress and worry for her sibling, making her feel a little jealous, but it isn’t the time to think about that.

“Eunbi? Eunbi.” She tried calling the older girl’s name but it seems like she wasn’t heard or was being ignored. “Eunbi!”

”What!?” Eunbi yells back, because what can Hyewon do that could help her feel better about their situation right now. So far the girl has been useless and passive about this.

”How old is your sister?”

‘Is she really asking me this right now!?’

”Sixteen, so!?”

”Then you don’t have to worry. Your sister is old enough to know what to do. She can take care of herself.” Hyewon reasons out.

”You don’t know her and you don’t know that.”

“Was she with anyone while waiting for you?”

Eunbi thinks for a while and remembers her sister’s bestfriend and widens her eyes. “Oh hell no! The more  I have to get out of here. That stupid girl will just get my sister in trouble.”

”So she’s with someone. Then you don’t have to worry. Calm down. Take a deep breath.” Hyewon instructs her while doing the same. Eunbi takes a few deep breaths and finally lets out a deep sigh. She slumps back down with her back to the door.

”Can you distract me for a while. I don’t want to think about where I am supposed to be right now or what I should’ve been doing.” Eunbi asks the younger girl, Hyewon then sits down, closer this time, and shows the older girl her second favorite thing on this world.

Her camera.

She turns it on and immediately shows the girl her the photos she took. There were photos of the sky, butterflies, parts of the school, Hyewon with people Eunbi doesn’t know besides Yena, and countless other photos. One thing for sure Hyewon has the eye and talent for photography.

”Wow, you’re really good at this. Are you going pursue it for college?” Eunbi asks.

”College?”

”Yeah. What are you going to do after graduation?”

Graduation. It was something that Hyewon never wanted to come. She didn’t like how quickly time is passing by, for her school just started but right now graduation is already months away. She doesn’t have that much options on what to do for her future, blame her parents on that, they want her to follow their footsteps into the business world.

”Photography is just a hobby I enjoy. For college, I guess I’ll go to any good unviersity that accepts me.” She answers. “How about you?”

Eunbi smiles thinking about what she wants to do, “I’m actually planning to be an idol.”

”An idol? As in the singing and dancing one?” Hyewon tilts in head with question. Eunbi finds it cute and laughs.

”Yes, that one. I enjoy performing and making others happy. I want to get on stage and put on a show that would make people feel things.”

”Are you a trainee in some agency?” Considering their ages, they’re almost in their 20s, most trainees start at a young that way they can train and debut in a young age

“Not yet, sadly.” Eunbi had tried but she ends up failing the auditions, but this doesn’t sadden her at all, it just motivates her to do better. Hearing this Hyewon has an idea on how to make the older girl happy but for it to work it has to happen later.

”I’m pretty sure you’ll accepted in an agency someday.”

”Thanks.” Eunbi says with a smile, “But you haven’t heard me sing or dance.”

”That’s true, how about show me now. We have a lot of time to waste here.” Hyewon says in anticipation.

Although Eunbi doesn’t feel so open about singing or dancing infront of Hyewon since they barely know each other but she has to get used to different faces and crowds watching her. “Okay but don’t laugh, I’ll just sing for y-“

Drip Drop.

Rain started pouring, they were talking too much that they didn’t even notice the sky was gerting dark and clouds were already grey. The two girls stood up from where they sat and tried to avoid getting hit by the rain. They moved backwards till they felt the solid wall behind them, there was a small roof over the door but it did so little to block the rain. Their head and upper chest area was safe but the rest of their body was getting drenched by the rain. Luckily for them the rain isn’t strong but it was still bad since they’ll be staying there for along time.

”We have really bad luck.” Hyewon deadpans, as she watches the rain fall down. “Oh. Your cactus. Won’t it get drowned by the rain?” It’s never good for a plant to have too much water.

“Oh no!” Eunbi tries to run to her cactus but an arm blocks her way, she looks to see Hyewon looking serious, like she was thinking very hard. The younger girl removes her sweater and hands it Eunbi.

“Let me do it.” Hyewon smiles at her and before Eunbi could protest Hyewon ran through the rain and got the cactus and brought it back beside them. To Hyewon it was a simple grab and go but for Eunbi everything was different. It was as if it happened in slow motion, she noticed how the rain fell and drenched her uniform, how each step the girl took would leave a small splash. It was like Hyewon was retrieving back something important to Eunbi and it was a climatic experience.

Eunbi smacks Hyewon’s arm, “You’re being dramatic when it’s just getting a plant.”

”Not even a thank you?”

“Thank you.” The pot w

It has come to my attention that I may or may not have put a disclaimer: that this story was based on the Toki Doki Manga. I was inspired by it and gotten some parts of the story for my plot. Forgive me for taking late action

Chapter 17: I thought it would be somehow cheesy and fluffy story, but then I WAS ALL WRONG. What the hell. I just found out this story and spent my first tears reading the whole chapters in one day, in 2022 ㅠㅠ i don't why i keep on reading such an angsty story where the main character was so selfless and everything. God, but seriously this is one of amazing story. Everything is perfect except the ending part, i thought that i would be getting happy ending but no ㅠㅠ cleching my heart so tight because it was really hurt ㅠㅠ

Chapter 17: Wow this is the first time I cried hard for a fanfic. This is so sad but the story is overall amazing. Normally, I wouldn't leave a comment on a story and just read it until the end and move on but this is so great. I suspected it on from the second or third chapter(?) But I kept going thinking that I may be wrong. I also thought kangbi endgame but them didn't ending up together is wonderful too(weird but it makes sense). Good job authornim!
