Windflowers

Description

Maybe there is more to Park Chaeyoung than her reputation, and maybe Jung Jaehyun is that good at swimming deep into people's eyes and their mind as well.

Foreword

This was meant to be a multi-chaptered fic, but due to time constraint and the lack of motivation, I'm just going to end this story here. I wrote this story with another person in mind, but I figured out that Jaehyun suits the character better. Thanks for reading :-)

Chapter 1: I just finished reading this and the story idea was very unique and made me feel like I was actually there, scrubbing the pool tiles begrudgingly! I liked how Rosé was so eager to swim that she helped Jaehyun clean the pool, even though she didn’t have to! She could’ve went to another place—maybe a gym—and practice her swimming in clear water, but she didn’t! I wonder why!

Also, the details in this story are very immersive! For example, when Jaehyun kicked a dried leaf on the ground only to immediately put it in the dustbin. I thought that was well done! Of course, there are other details that captured my interest: Jaehyun almost slipping onto the pool floor, Rosé thinking about the pool, etc.

This definitely gives me summer and high school vibes. The characterization and actions were well done. They are natural between two students :)

“Meet some cute guy?”

“There are monsters in there.”

Like, I can tell Jaehyun is very playful and nonchalant even if he’s seen the most beautiful girl in the world hehe. Great job!
