More days passed and we grew even more distant. I then started asking myself, "Where did it all go wrong?" We still met up but I didn't feel like we were really together. You even told me "I love you" but I strangely didn't feel anything. Was it only just me feeling that way then? Or did you feel the same too?

Our little dates started to mean less. The endearing words and intimate touches no longer holding that spark of joy. Even the couple rings didn't make me feel something. Maybe I was getting sick of the familiarity. Maybe I was getting tired of you.. of.... us. There were times after our fights where I just easily spewed out words of "let's just stop". Sometimes I even laughed and you gave me weird looks before storming away.

Both of us eventually grew numb.
