From respectful bows and polite smiles while passing by during inkigayo, to accidentally meeting in another country. They didn't mean to bump into each other the first time, and they definitely didn't expect a surprising friendship to form between the members. All this was because Taehyung accidentally choked on his inkigayo sandwich while Rosé was trying to find the restroom.

It's not that the inkigayo sandwiches were even that amazing to begin with if Taehyung had to be honest. It just correlated greatly with how inkigayo rehearsals were the worst out of all the music shows in his opinion - mostly due to the fact that recordings began as early as 6:30am. Too early to hear his alarm the first time, too early to barely remember to take a needed shower in the whirlwind of hurried bodies around the dorm, and too early to pick up any sort of refreshment before leaving. The only good thing out of rehearsing there is the unlimited sandwiches that were given to each group. Taehyung was a simple man who didn't hold back when his needs were on the line, and perhaps that may be his downfall.

"Dude, I really think you should slow down. They started us off with 15 sandwiches, and I may not be the best at math, but I blinked and only 3 are left."

"I don't need the judgment in your tone, Chim, I'm a growing boy."

"I don't think we have the same idea of what kind of 'growth' your exhibiting at the moment, but go off."

And maybe that was Taehyung's second strike, not listening to his soulmate when he was just looking out for him.

"I'll just step outside, it's hard to eat under these bad vibes." Jimin rolled his eyes as he grabs one, leaving only two sandwiches left for the other 5 members to fight for when they wake up.

Before Taehyung knew it, he was 3 stories down from his original floor with only a bite left to finish his sandwich before heading back. Of course it would be his last bite where a ripped piece of cardstock containing an unknown number, would be in. First of all, who even just has that kind of paper lying around with them for this case.

Taehyung was a simple man who just wanted to make up for lost breakfast, he wasn't expecting to see his life pass before his eyes after every attempt of dislodging the ugly chunk out of his windpipe.

"Oh my gosh!!!"

Taehyung glanced with tears forming in his eyes towards the source of the frantic scream - which so happened to be Blackpink's Rosé. He faintly remembers the interview that was broadcasted on the screen an hour earlier before his mind reeled back into remembering I need to breathe I needtobreathe Ineedtobreathe.

If there's one thing the education system didn't fail Rosé in back in Australia, it would be making her do that one group presentation about the heimlich maneuver.
