SEULGI’S POV

 

We went to downtown Tokyo, I saw Joohyun beside me taking pictures of the streetlights

 “wooooowww, Seulgi-nim, Tokyo is really beautiful” she said while looking at the tall buildings and streetlights.

“Hey, close your mouth. A fly might come in” I joked. And she glared at me.

“People here are always busy. I think you belong here, Seulgi-nim hahaha”

“Aish! This woman” I said while Joohyun walks ahead of me.

 

I took my phone out and texted Mr. Lee to handle my meetings today.

As I return my phone to my pocket, Joohyun is nowhere to be found.

“J-joohyun?” I mumbled. Where the heck did she go?

“yah! J-joohyun!!!” I shouted. There are so many people and I can’t find her.  

I’m was panicking as I search for her.

 

 

JOOHYUN’S POV

I Saw Seulgi-nim busy with his phone.

As I walked towards him I was welcomed by a swarm of people walking in the streets.

I looked in the direction where he was, but  I did not see him.

“Seulgi-nim!! Seulgi-nim!!” I yelled in panic. What am I supposed to do? I don’t even know how to go back in our hotel.

I continued searching for him for 20 minutes but I can’t really find him. I also tried to call his phone but it was offline. I was hopeless….

The tears in my eyes was evident until I felt someone intertwined his hands on me.

I looked beside me and it was Seulgi-nim. He was covered with sweat.

 “S-Seulgi-nim…..” I said

“Where the heck did you go!!” he said while catching his breath.

 

I was so glad he found me. I broke our hands and hugged him. He slowly returned the hug.

 

My tears were unstoppable.

“I was so scared Seulgi-nim” I said while crying.

“Just stay close to me.” He said and tightened the embrace.

 

I don’t know if it was my heart who’s beating fast and loud or his.

 

I heard his phone ringing.

“ Seugi-nim, your phone is ringing” we detached from our hug.

“Ahh. Y-yes, U-Uhm.” He was stuttering.

Before he answer his phone, he held my hand.

“Stay close.” He said.

I suddenly blushed as I looked to a different direction to hide my tomato face.

 

 

“Let’s go eat, I’m hungry , I ran too much” he said after the call.

I nodded but I suggested something

“Seulgi-nim, Can we eat street food instead?” he looked at me with a confused face

“ S-street food? I-I don’t eat those kind of food” He replied

“What?? That’s the most delicious and authentic food in a country” I insisted

“ I-I d-don’t know joohyun, Maybe some other time”

“No, we will eat street food today. I promise you won’t regret this” I still insisted as I pulled our intertwined hands toward the line of food carts.

 

“Hi! Two orders of takoyaki and yaki tomoroshi please” I said to the vendor.

After we get our orders, we went to a near table and chair.

“Here seulgi-nim try this” I tried feeding him but he’s still not opening his mouth.

“Aish Sulgi-nim! If you don’t want I’ll just eat all of this” I said.

“Why can’t we just eat in a restaurant??” he relplied.

“Okayy, Here’s the deal Seulgi-nim, We’ll eat in a restaurant if you’ll taste what I ordered” I said

He was so helpless and just eat what I ordered.

 

“Wow, Joohyun I did not expect that this will be delicious” he said while munching his 10^th takoyaki ball and 5^th yaki tomoroshi.

“Wooww Seulgi-nim I did not also expect that you are a big eater” I said with my eyes wide open.

 

We ended up not eating in a restaurant and just explored the line of street foods in Tokyo.

I think he enjoyed it as much as I did. I thought as I smiled.

We’ll return in Korea tomorrow, and I’m happy that he was able to relax for a bit.

 

 

 

 

SEULGI’S POV

I can’t believe I just ate street food and it was a surprise to me. It was my first time.

We returned in our office in Korea and as usual there are tons on work to do

 

 

*After a week*

“ Joohyun kindly prepare the documents for the meeti-“

*Knock* *knock*

Joohyun opened the door.

“HI SEULGI!!! I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!”

It was Krystal. My childhood first love

We remained close friends after agreeing that we’ll not date each other

 

 

She ran towards me and hugged me.

 I saw joohyun not looking at us and a bit uncomfortable.

“ Joohyun can you leave us for a minute” I said.

“ Yes, Seulgi-nim” She bowed and left the office.

 

 

 

 

 

JOOHYUN’S POV

As I opened the door I saw a beautiful girl ran towards Seulgi-nim.

She has long hair, fair skin, and a tall girl. She must be really rich. And compatible to Seulgi-nim,

I saw them hugging and I don’t know why I felt discomfort.

“ Joohyun can you leave us for a minute” he said

“Yes, Seulgi-nim” I said and went to joy’s desk.

 

 

“Hi Joy!” I greeted her. She told me to call her Joy instead of Secretary Joy since we’re friends now,

“Hi Joohyun! Did you see how beautiful Krystal is??” she said.

“ I Heard that’s She’s S-seulgi-nim’s Girlfriend” She continued

“Y-yeah, S-She’s really beautiful” I said emotionless

“Why are you so upset?” Joy replied.

“w-what?? I’m not!!” I said

“C’mon joohyun I know that face! Don’t tell me you’re starting to like Seulgi-nim??” Joy said.

“I-I’ll grab something to eat” I changed the topic and walked away.

Joy is smirking while I walk away.

 

 

 

 

 

SEULGI’S POV

“You’re back! How are you!” I said to Krystal

“I great! and I’m happy to be back in Korea again” she replied.

“ How are you and Chanyeol?” I asked

“We’re getting Married Seulgi!” she said while showing me her engagement ring.

“Wooooww, I’m so happy for you Soojung-ah”

“How about you? How’s your love life?” she asked while grinning.

“I-I d-don’t have one” I awkwardly answered

“Seulgi, I know you for a long time and I know whether you're lying of not” she said

“You like someone Seulgi. It’s obvious.” She continued

 

I ended up telling her what happened to Japan between Joohyun and me.

 

“I knew it!! I knew It” she said while grinning

“shhhh just be quiet!” I calmed her down

“But I don’t like what you did to her Seulgi!” she said referring to my plans to make joohyun quit the company.

“ I-I know! And I-was wrong Krystal” I said while face palming myself

“I-I don’t know if she’ll like me back after what I did” I continued

“Ohhhhh That’s not the Seulgi know! I know him being aggressive” Krystal said.

“hahaha shut-up!” we both laugh

“Don’t worry, I’ll help you Seulgi”

“Thanks Krystal, I just don’t want to rush things. I want to know her more” I replied

 

 

 

 

 

JOOHYUN’S POV

 

I returned in Joy’s desk with some snacks.

“Thanks! Joohyun!” Joy said.

“ uhhmm, Is Krystal-shi still inside the office?” I asked Joy.

“Yes” she replied

"ahhhh... okay..." i replied

 

 

Why are they taking so long?.
