Rosé couldn't process what her bestfriend just said.

- Haha, what are you saying, she nervously laughed. We're both girl, you're just misinterpreting affection, and over shared homesickness with love. And beside what do we know about falling in love. This, she added while pointing between their lips, didnt happen. Oh my God what if Yang sajangnim learn about this.

She started to freak out thinking about them being throw out and forced to go back to Australia and Thailand with nothing. No this cant be.

- Were both tired and should head back home. Let me call manager unnie to take us back. Or you can stay if you want, I dont know.
 

The girl kept rambling for she was too nervous to let Lisa say something else like what she just told her.

Ani, this cant be true, Rosé thought as she was starting to pack her stuff. She was being careful not to cross eyes with Lisa who was still painfully silent.
 

- I'll just go wait outside for manager unnie, good night Lisa.. she said as she risked a glance towards the other girl.
 

Lisa was unreadable, her eyes and expression blank. She just nodded shaking a faint goodbye to Rosé as the girl was leaving her alone in the studio.

-*Sigh* i Guess shes right.. what do I know about love, lisa told herself before getting comfortable on the couch beside her.

Her eyes were starting to get teary but she fought the tears back.

Ani, ani, ulgo sipji anha. I must not cry, nothing happen for me to cry for. We are just friends and she still is my bestfriend. I must just take care not to get confused again, that's it. Now let's try to sleep a little bit, lisa ya. Let's forget about tonight.

But how could she..


 

Seoul, January 22th mid afternoon 
 

The pinks were dispatched today, as they had the day off. Their schedule was hectic. They just got back from Jakarta and tomorrow they had the GMA to attend then a couple of days before going back on tour in China.

Rose was the only one that had stayed home as jisoo and Lisa went to hangout with friends and Jennie wanted to go to her family house to think about all the troubles in her life right now. 
 

Today was just a chill day for her listening to her favorite band and singing alone in her room.

ILYSB by Lany was filling her ears as she was wearing her earphones. She was so in love with that band, she would die to see them perform live.

This song was giving her special feelings right now as she couldn't help but think of Lisa.
 

Since the thai concerts, they caught themselves secretly staring at each other, subtle touches, longing hours spent together. They didnt spoke about what was happening, they just let things happens without thinking too much what it means.

As she thought of her teammate, she started to hum the song slightly before fully singing with Paul Klein.

She didnt notice Lisa who was leaning against the door frame of her bedroom, until she opened her eyes.

- Your voice is so pure chaeng, lisa said with deep sparkling eyes, I've always been in love with it. Everytime you sing your solo act, when you sing Bom Unnie song, I'm just.. ugh.. I cant even find words to describe it Chaeng.

- How long have you been here, she ask blushing ignoring the girl statement.

- I dont know i lost track of time, I was to captivated. You look cute in that outfit, she add out of the blue with a cute smile.

Rose was wearing Stitch's girlfriend Angel onesie. It was a cute baby pink color.

- My dad sent it to me. He said that when he saw it, the color remind it of his baby rosie, she rolled her eyes while chuckling.

- Hmm.. cute little baby rosie, Lisa said with a grin.

- Dont make fun of me. Rosé scrunched her face as she complained.

- I'm not. You're cute and I'm not gonna lie, calling you baby as always been my weakness.

Rosé didnt reply, she just let silence fill the room as she was fidgeting with the side of the onesie.

- Maybe I should buy Stitch onesie to match yours, what had you think?
 

Ugh smooth b#txh, Rosé thought as she censured herself. Swearing in thoughts is still swearing!

She eyed the girl. She was grinning as if she was proud of herself thinking she was being smooth.
 

- Do as you want, she said showing no interest as if her heart wasn't beating fast imagining herself and Lisa wearing cute couple matching onesie.

- When did you come home by the way? How was your day?

She changed subject to try to regulate her heartbeat again.

- I dont know maybe fifteen minutes, I dont really know. It was just before I walked on you. Today was nice, just hanged out with Sorn and Bambam. Ten couldn't made it, you know how SM ent. is.

- Yeah I know, Joy always complains about it.

Rosé exits her room for the living area with Lisa close behind.

- Yeah well it I con barely see my friend. Anyway I'm hungry, do you want to help cook something?

- Jennie forbade you to use anything that implied cooking. We almost burned because of you last time you tried to make instant ramen!

- Ya it wasn't my fault ! How could have i know that the hot water must be boiling in the ramen own bowl. I thought that was the point of the instant, you dont have to take other dishes to cook it.
 

Rose facepalms as she explained to the younger one that nobody would think to put a plastic bowl over fire to boil water but boil the water separately.

They started to bicker as usual when Jisoo enters the apartment.

- Ya maknaes! Quiet I'm exhausted and I need calm. Why are you fighting again.

- Because Chaeyoung is being mean and calling me stupid, lisa pouts cutely.

- That's because you are. Also she was trying to cook again unnie.

- Are you crazy ?! You never get to enter a kitchen again. Never! I'm too young and beautiful to die.

- But I'm hungry and Jennie unnie is still MIA. Lisa sighed in frustration, well you know what let's just order. I'm taking care of it.

- How was your day unnie, Rose asked as Jisoo was telling Lisa to order some chicken for her and dumplings for Jennie with tteokbokki since she loved those.

Speaking of the devil, Jennie joined the rest of the pinks. She greeted them as she sank in on the couch next to jisoo.

- Today was lovely, I was with Kimbap, Jisoo answered. We went to the arcade games.
 

Jennie glanced the other girl beside her.

- You didnt told me you had a date. Are you back together or something, she questioned with some apprehension.
 

The idea of Jisoo dating again was making jennie feel uneasy.

- Hmm.. not really. I dont think it was a date. I dont know we just hanged out. Nothing much. Bobby and I, I dont think it'll ever happen again. We were young and shared a lot together. So I dont know it just felt ok to date at that time when he asked me out. But we're just friend at the end.
 

Jennie just nodded but she was happy for some reason.

Why am I happy and why was I worried in the 1st place. She's your friend you should be happy to see her happily dating some cool sweet guy. Jennie tried to make sense in her head. But that's exactly why I'm not ok with it, because she wasnt happy dating him. That's it, nothing more.
 

- That's sad you were so cute together and he always was so gentle with you, rosie said with a cute pouting face.

- Haha, that's right. I always made fun of him for he was being such a baby around you, Lisa laughed. But Bunny is a cool guy.

- Hmm, I know, Jisoo said while glancing at Jennie who was quiet. But I'm not meant for him anyway. Today was just a friendly day with a friend playing video games, that's it. Now where is my chicken?

Jennie jumped on the opportunity to change subject as she ask vigorously if they ordered dumplings. She was craving them all day.

- Jisoo unnie asked some for you dont worry unnie.

Jennie glanced at Jisoo, a smile forming on her lips as she watch the heart shaped ones smiling back.

- You always know what I need and want unnie.

- Always jennie-ah. Always, Jisoo replied as they shared a knowing look.

A few minutes later, they were all sharing food on the couch while watching some stupid show on TV. Thanks to their maknae cooking.


 

Much later that night.
 

Rose was laying in bed going through the internet. She was hit by insomnia tonight and she decided to do her usual check up.

She took the habit to check her name tag once or twice a week to see what the world think and talk about when it comes to her.

She has always been self conscious on her status in the group and how she reflects to others. She feels like somehow she doesn't fit; like she's not a foreigner cause she has Korean background but at the same time she definitely doesn't feel korean as she's so lost in the culture. 
Her few knowledge of Korea and the language often make her seems like she's stupid and she hates to feel like that.

She tries not to think about it too much and seeing good reviews of her on Google or fan video of them showing love to the girls helps to feel secure.
 

She was currently scrolling YouTube as she step upon a video of hers and Lisa's ship "chaelisa". The video was a recent one and thumbnail was just showing her with a big smile looking at a fan cam she assumes as Lisa's back was facing.

She felt mixed signalled regarding that shipthing because even if she finds it cute that their fan ships them together, it was feeding her worries about being to obvious when it come the thai girl. In those videos she was always so smitten by her, it makes her sick.

But she couldn't help but press the play button everytime she sees a video of them and this one wasnt an exception.
 

As the video begins, "all of me" by John Legend started to play.

Ugh the feels. This song always get thru her.
 

The video itself wasnt too bad, she wasnt too smitten. It was mostly pics of them at the airport together and concert moments. It was just sweet.

If you didnt pay attention you wouldn't notice that everytime Rosé was by Lisa's side she was all smiles and clinging onto her.

However one blink did notice as she commented that she felt that for Rosé if they are together nothing else matters to her.
 

Well nothing does honestly.. 
 

She got lost in the song as she started to sing again until she was cut off by some text on her phone.

*lisa-oppa : Chaeyoung-ah are you singing?*

Rosé went quiet as she read the text messages and also she should really changed that contact name.

Why does she always change it back to this? Omg it's so embarrassing! But shes such an oppa too ugh.

But how come she can hear me?? I'm gonna die this so embarrassing, thanks God she just sent a text and didnt come here. What if she caught me looking at videos of us at 5am when I'm supposed to sleep!
 

Then another message followed.

*lisa-oppa : Its still really nice to listen to, but I need to sleep*

*lisa-oppa : get some rest too chipmunk. We need to rest for tomorrow. I'm off, love you. If you cant sleep I can come to you ;)*

Rosé stayed there in the dark with only her laptop lights reflecting on her. She was barely breathing afraid to make any other sound that would make the younger girl come to her room. She blushed so hard as she imagined lisa coming to her bed.

*lisa-oppa : I was just kidding. Breath chaeng and stop blushing you're too cute.*

Rosé glanced around as if she would see Lisa suddenly standing besides her, for she was describing her so good right now.

She decided to reply after realizing she was being stupid.

*shut up I'm not blushing and it wasnt me singing. You were just dreaming. Night.*

She got a reply instantly.
