Kisses. [Chaennie.]Forget the world, it's just us two
And when you do, just think of what we've been through
Who am I, who am I, Who am I to you?
Oh, take me back in time to when our love was still around
Yeah, you say it's all pretend
But then you lift me off the ground
Oh, I think I'm in a time machine that keep living in the past
But nothing ever matters because nothing ever lasts
time machine by midnight fusic.
“Wha- What?”
“I – it.” She sighed out. “Jennie… It’s been – it’s been quite awhile now actually that I realised I’m –“
Chaeyoung was stopped by Jennie’s finger on her lips to shut her up. “No. Don’t finish that sentence. You – you can’t.”
Heartbroken, her eyes fluttered confusingly. “What do you mean I can’t?” She didn’t understand, didn’t Jennie felt the same? Why is she acting this way? I’m in love with you.” She waved her hands to emphasize her words and show how sincere she was being. Jennie resisted the urge to hug the girl infront of her, she wanted so badly to kiss Chaeyoung and forget all her worries but she couldn’t.
“You’re- you’re not. You can’t. Chaeyoung please stop and understand that you can’t. This ‘love’ is impossible for us.” Jennie’s eyes watered wiping them quickly. The taller girl instinctively caressed her face and brought her in a hug, kissing the side of her head. Pushing the blonde away, “No! No. Stop.”
A little frustrated, Chaeyoung still obliged putting space between them and she sat sideway with her legs touching the floor. “We can make it possible… Don’t tell me you don’t feel the same… I mean come on Jennie – “
The older girl got off her bed and walked to her windowsill to sit there looking out on the city streets. Chaeyoung ruffled her hair and pinch the bridge of her nose. She sniffed trying to keep herself from crying. She went to Jennie and stood behind her only seeing the older through the window’s reflection.
“Is it right to feel the way we feel.. Chaeyoungie?”
“ You’re scared.” Chaeyoung could tell by the tone of her voic
