"Lisaaa" I hear my mom call out and I got myself ready to act. Props, check. I can already feel my body heating up a bit but not so much.

"Lisa! What are you still doing up here?" She barged in to my room and I groaned, pretending to just have woken up but didn't completely open my eyes for dramatic effect and pulled the blanket tighter to me even if the air conditioner is off.

"What's wrong? Are you sick?" She sat on my bed and felt my forehead.

"So cold. Turn off the AC~" I whined.

"You're not that hot. Can you stand up?" I sat up weakly but held my head and laid back down

"My room is spinning." I closed my eyes shut.

"I'll go get the thermometer." She walked out and I patiently waited for her to come back

"Here put this on, I'm gonna get you water." I put the thermometer below my pillow where my heating pad is and got it out so the heat won't be too high and put it on my mouth once mom came back.

"Let me see." She pulled it out and sighed.

"You have a fever. I can't take a day off and your father has an important meeting." I almost rolled my eyes

"I'll just sleep it off." She nodded

"I'll leave you a medicine but if you feel better, you can still attend classes in the afternoon ok?" Leave it to my parents who still insists in going to school even for a halfday.

I smirked when she turned to leave. I stretched and went back to sleep. I'm still very sleepy and my body is aching all over.

I woke up at a rustling sound on my balcony.  I looked at the clock and it's already lunch time. My parents doesn't eat lunch at home.

"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in class?" I propped and elbow and he walked up to me and sat me down then checked my body.

"Were you hurt?" My brows furrowed.
