Description
Baekhyun and Jongin (aka Kai) loved each other in high school almost to the point of being 'in love,' but due to an arranged marriage they had to go their seperate ways and that never came true.
Now 7 years later, they cross paths again but only Baekhyun knows.
A lot has changed, lifestyle and personalities but hopefully the one part that brought them together is still intact. Do they still love each other? Will they both be happy? Together??
A/N: Hello! This is my second EXO fanfic and it's a Kaibaek fanfic (most of them will be). There won't be any mythical stuff happening or powers in this one. However I will be using certain aspect of EXO in this fanfic such as there numbers (to make it easier on myself).

"I promise that I will always love you," Jongin declared with a serious and determined look on his face. He was being forced into an arranged marriage with someone that he did not love and more importantly was not Baekhyun.
"Don't make promises you don't know you can keep," Baekhyun didn't want to feel anymore dishearted than he already is.
He may be cheerful and look tough but if he were to be honest, he's as weak as a puppy without its mother and right now that's how his insides feel right now.. but he doesn't want to cry, at least in front of Jongin it will just make it harder to leave each other.
"I don't care, my statement still stands," He finalized, Baekhyun just decided to acknowledge this, he already felt a headache coming from holding in his emotions.
Baekhyun walked towards the door, "I should go," he said in a quiet voice, not daring to look at Jongin.
"Yeah," Jongin sounded choked up, he grabbed Baekhyuns' arm and kissed him one last time, this happened in the span of a second. Baekhyun was wide-eyed but leaned in.
"I love you," Kai whispered on Baekhyun's lips before pulling away completely.
Baekhyun could feel the tears as he said a quick "I love you too," before turning and running out the door.
He cried for weeks after that night, with Luhan by his side, that was the last time he cried in front of others.
