.... “Arranging all these will require enormous amount of man power and skills which means choosing 1 CEO might not be enough. What Dai-chan is saying is… Arioka and Chinen family will work together for the future of Takizaki Corporation. Who said that in a company, there should only be 1 CEO? Daiki and I can be CEOs of Takizaki and together, I am confident that we will get success”, Chinen concluded after gone through a thirty minute presentation with Daiki. 

Silence. 

Not even a camera shutter was heard. The two boys waited for the crowd’s reaction but everything seems frozen. It wasn’t long when Takizaki himself stood up and led himself towards the two boys in the platform. 

“All of these will not be possible without your blessing, sir…”, Daiki bowed after seeing Takizaki stand right in front of them.

“Well then… I guess Takizaki Corporation will be under BOTH your care. I expect great things from the BOTH of you”, the old man extended his arm and shook Daiki and Chinen’s hands respectively, entrusting his company to the two of them. He was clearly impressed with their presentation and even looked at Ryosuke’s way acknowledging him being a part of Daiki and Chinen’s plans.

With utmost joy, Daiki shook Takizaki’s hand firmly and couldn’t help but to give Chinen a hug. It wasn’t long when a set of applause and random cheers up-roared the conference room and soon, the media started hurdling around Daiki before he can even approach the one person he wants to hug the most: Kitagawa Amu. 

Daiki, Ryosuke and Chinen tried to break free and move away from the crowd asking them for an interview. However, the three boys just found themselves being trapped. They didn’t have much choice but to answer the never-ending questions about their thoughts and feelings after being entrusted the biggest company in Japan despite their younge age.

On the other hand, Amu and Rio waited patiently outside the reception to personally congratulate the boys. Thirty minutes probably had passed but for the girls, it felt longer. All they want to do now is give Daiki and Ryosuke a warm embrace for finally being able to overcome the biggest trial of their relationship.

Amu and Rio’s waiting were relieved when the receptionist called for Amu, “Kitagawa-san, your boss is asking for you in his office”, the woman informed and instructed the younger girl back to the her work place. Amu assumed that Chinen was finally freed from the reporters and needed her assistance. Following orders, Amu then turned to Rio to seek approval.

“Don’t worry about me. I’ll go back to our apartment to finalise our stuff for our move tonight. I’ll just catch up with Ryo-chan tomorrow, maybe. I’m sure he’s still busy with Dai-chan”, the older one smiled and headed outside the building. Seeing her best friend’s figure retreat, Amu then headed towards Chinen’s office.

Not thinking much about it, Amu skipped towards her boss’ office and opened the usual double doors leading to the room, “Chinen-kun, you called for m—“, she turned her head towards the centre of the hollow room and saw Daiki staring directly at her, with his bottom half sitting on the edge of his desk.

“Dai-chan? Honda-san said my boss called for me”, Amu said, referring to the receptionist who summoned her to Chinen’s room. She titled her head in confusion and waited patiently for Daiki’s response. “Why are you in his office? Are you waiting to see him too?”

“Not exactly… This office is for the CEO and since I’m now officially one of the CEOs of Takizaki Corporation, I’ll be taking this office”, Daiki started. His smirk grew and found himself walking towards Amu’s figure. He squeezed her hands ever so lightly before continuing, “I guess I’ll be your boss from now on”.
