I thought I could survive the senior year in high school flawlessly. But I was so wrong. I knew nothing about public schools, absolutely nothing. I was never taught things about normal schools. I didn’t know about all the dramas or what’s the deal with ”the school’s kings and queens”. No, I simply just thought that public school is sitting in a classroom while teacher is teaching in front of the class and I’d have to take notes in order to study for exams.

Things weren’t easy for me. Making friends? Problematic. Staying out of trouble? Yeah, for sure. I couldn’t keep a low profile because I had to deal with other students. Being as normal as possible? Not going to happen. I can’t help it that I was raised in a military.
