It was another day of school. You were waiting for the teacher to come in.

“Hi.” A voice said. You looked up to see Jiyeon shyly smiling at you.

“Hi.” You replied, unsure. *She still wants to sit by me?*

Jiyeon carefully sat next to you and hugged her pink backpack. It was quiet then she held out a packet of Skittles, “Want one?”

“Huh? Oh…” You didn’t know how to respond. No one else had been so friendly to you before.

Jiyeon pulled away, “Never mind…I just thought since we were friends we could share candies…”

Your eyes rounded, “F-friend?”

Jiyeon looked into your eyes and nodded, “You’re the only person who is nice to me here. So I want you to be my friend. Unless you don’t want me to be…”
