Idols have an abundant amount of skinships with one another to satisfy their fans. Red Velvet, a girl group of five which Irene and Wendy is in, was no different.

“I like you,” Wendy had said but she paused, seeing the disbelief in Irene’s eyes.

“You’re going to say you liked how my shimmering eyes could tug at your heart strings and how my piercing laughter could naturally make you smile along as well right?” Irene said with a sigh. “You always tell me these... but I don’t know if you mean it.”

Wendy’s eyes fell. Irene was right, she had always thrown out cheesy lines to the elder girl that it was not novel. It no longer had the effect to evoke eyes of adoration from Irene as time went by. Irene was right, Wendy had to mean her words this time, she had to prove it.

“Let me sleep in your bedroom tonight,” Wendy said suddenly, startling the elder girl.

That night in bed, Wendy had proved herself as she translated her words into action. They laid facing each other, not bearing to close their eyes, fearing that it would shorten their precious night together.

Irene had lied to the group that she was not feeling well and Wendy had conveniently volunteered herself to take care of the leader. They had not wanted to evoke suspicions with the other members of the group that they were toge
