Pt. 11
In TroubleBaekhyun's eyes scanned over the city, he'd dreamed of going to Seoul, for the sights, celebrities and the overall popularity of the city.
He wasn't too excited now, he'd never been before and he also didn't want to come like this, in danger and possibly more by the amount of people and size of the place.
He looked back to Chanyeol as the car slowly rolled into the busy morning traffic.
"I know a guy here." Chanyeol spoke up.
Baekhyun felt slightly more at ease with that, "Okay."
"But I don't know if he'll let me in."
Baekhyun lips frowned at that, but he quickly forced on a smile when Chanyeol looked his way.
"It'll be okay."
Baekhyun wasn't so sure anymore, he just hoped they had a decent place to stay.
He hoped they'd be safe.
Chanyeol wasn't so convinced if Baekhyun was actually okay with it all, especially after what happened in the vacant grassy field. He didn't want to lose someone else, especially not now — especially not Baekhyun.
"We used to work together, but he managed to get away." Chanyeol spoke up, "He's a good guy, I promise. Just young and got in a bad situation." The taller sighed, tightening his grip on the steering wheel out of anxiousness, the gnawing thoughts causing him to slowly bite the inside of his cheek too.
Baekhyun took a deep breath, that sounded familiar. He looked back to Chanyeol; a small smile spreading on his lips, trying to at least make it believable. "Chanyeol, I said it's okay." The smaller began, knowing the latter was rambling to make things better, "I trust you."
Chanyeol's worried brain slowly stopped, Baekhyun always knew how to get him to breath for just a second, and those words made his heart melt slightly. Did Baekhyun really trust him?
He felt his lips slowly curl at that but he tried his best not to show the way Baekhyun had a toll on him; especially when he felt those familiar brown eyes on him.
"I see that smile, Park Chanyeol." Baekhyun teased, turning his head back to the excruciatingly slow traffic in front of them.
"You saw nothing." Chanyeol replied, the end of his sentence slowly dying down, the tone of his voice now leaving an uncomfortable presence in the car.
His eyes were glued on the police car a few car's behind them, and Chanyeol was certain the cops were eyeing up the car.
Baekhyun eyebrows furrowed, noticing Chanyeol's adams apple bop up and down with a loud gulp, "What's wrong?"
Chanyeol didn't dare look away from the police, he was scared if he batted an eyelash they'd suddenly be right by the glass window, "Cops, 1 car behind."
Baekhyun eyes widened, his head snapping back to also see the car, "." He mumbled turning back into the seat.
"What now?" Baekhyun asked the obvious question, what now? They were stuck in the middle of endless stopped cars, there was no where to go and if they were to run, it'd be too risky.
"It's alright." Chanyeol took a shaky breath, even though it wasn't exactly alright. "I'll figure something out." He mumbled, more of a reassurance to himself rather than the small male beside him.
He saw a opening on the lane next to them and began to slowly creep in, receiving an annoyed honk of the horn from the car behi
