Unreal Beauty

"You know, they think I'm crazy." Kim Woojin placed his hand against the branch, in an attempt to catch himself from falling. He let out a sigh of relief when she grabbed onto his sleeve and pulled him forward, helping him regain his balance.ย

She giggled a little, her pretty eyes looking up at him in curiosity. Woojin noticed how the colorful stars reflected in her eyes whenever she smiled at him. "Oh, really? How so?" She patted the spot beside her on the branch, signing for Woojin to take a seat beside her.

He shook his head, refusing her offer. "I don't know, it's probably because your so unreal. They call me crazy for talking to you."

She smiled even wider at this. "I am?"

Woojin gulped and nodded. Han Jisung was simply unreal. She bad the prettiest and softest skin. Whenever her hand would touch his, his heart began beating at an unreal rate. He had never felt that with any other girl. When she smiled she made him smile in a way no other human being would. Jisung's beauty, her everything, it was so unreal.ย

"What are you thinking about?" Jisung stood up and stepped awfully close to Woojin, so that he could feel her breath.

As Woojin stared into her enchanting eyes, he couldn't believe this wasn't real. She had to be real. She breathed, she spoke, she made him feel ways no one else could. "You," he spoke with a deep sigh, thinking of how a girl like her could be so oblivious.

She stepped back as another giggle left . He groaned at the loss of contact, which made her giggle even more. "Really? Me? Why me?"

Woojin shrugged. How was he supposed to know why he was always stuck on her? How was he supposed to know how she felt so unreal? "I don't know. Maybe because you're so unreal?"

Jisung stopped laughing for a moment, concern washing over her soft features. "Woojin, I'm real," she tugged on his sleeve, pulling him closer. "Stop saying I'm unreal," a small frown formed on her lips.

Woojin simply nodded, too focused on the stars in her eyes. Or how warm her breath was against his chin. Or how pretty she was under the purple light of the night sky. He was too focused on her. Too hooked on her.ย

"Woojin?" Her pretty eyelashes fluttered when she said his name.

He nodded and gulped, a little intimidated by how close the two of them were. Woojin couldn't seem to understand how or why his heart was beating so fast. There was something about Jisung, she was so lighthearted and air
