Irene's POV

(Few days earlier)

"Seulgi, that's a very dangerous plan. We don't know what your mom is capable of. What if you won't be able to come back?

"Just trust me. Remember my promise. I won't leave you nor die on you. This is the only way to catch and stop her now." I just sighed cause I know that I won't be able to change her mind already.

"Thank you for doing this. Please be careful all the time. It's just that I don't know if I could be able to survive if ever I lose you."

"You won't lose me. I promise. I love you so much Baechu."

"I love you too seul-bear."

(Few hours earlier)

"What in the world is happening here? Seulgi, did you just killed my father?" I said surprisingly. Maybe the three of us can get Oscars award after this. lol

She didn't respond to me instead she punched me in my stomach. "I'm sorry Irene, but I don't have any choice." she said. What the hell, how am I going to follow her and then everything went black. 

When I woke up I'm in my room and I was locked from the inside. Ughhh Seulgi you're in a very big trouble. I knocked on the door and yelled.

"Let me out here. Ugghh I need to go and see Seulgi. Let me out I said."

"I'm sorry Irene, Seulgi made it clear not to let you out of this mansion." Wendy said.

"What the hell Wendy! I swear I'm gonna make your life a living hell if something happens to Seulgi and you just locked me up here." Then the door just opened. 

"Joy? Thank goodness you're here." I was surprised when I saw Wendy lying on the floor and Joy pointed her gun at me. What the hell is going on?

"I'm sorry Irene but you have to come with me."

"What's going on Joy? Are you on the enemy's side?"

She didn't answer my question instead she said. "I just wanna protect my family. Now let's go and just listen to me."

'Where are we going?"

"To where Seulgi is."

'Alright you don't have to point that gun at me. I'll come with you as I wanted to see her."

We were about to leave the safe house when my father appeared in front us.

"Mr. President. I thought you're dead." Joy said.

"Well, I'm not. So now spill the tea. To whom are you working for?" my dad asked.

She told us everything. She told us that she works with seulgi's step mom and that she took her family as a hostage for a long time already. She didn't tell anybody because it will endanger her family more which  for me is very understandable. She told us about the story and how mad she is with our family because dad leads the undercover mission that leads for Mr. Kang to meet Seulgi's biological mom to meet and have Seulgi as their child. 

"I'm going with her dad while you guys save Joy's family."

"But... Are you sure with that?'

"Dad, you know the answer already. Never been sure in my entire life." He hugged me then I saw mom as well. 

"Please take care of yourself my love."

"I will mom. I love you."

"I love you too. Please make sure to come back."

"I will be going home....we are going home." I hugged her. 

After that Joy and I went to this beautiful mansion.

"Where are we Joy?"

"Seulgi's biological mother's mansion."

"What? She's literally richer than us."

"What I heard is that she worked hard for it when she went abroad." 

Then I saw Seulgi's step mom. So this is the that made my Seulgi's life so messed up. 

"How are you Ms. Bae?"

I didn't respond and instead I just glared at her. Then she slapped me in my face. "How brave of you to give me that looks! Soon you'll see. Alright let's go Joy. Make sure she won't escape." Then we went where Seulgi and her mom is. When I saw my bear, her face was very upset then I turned to the woman beside her. Omooo, she's very pretty. She must be her biological mom? I knew that she almost killed my mom and dad but after knowing the truth, I kinda feel sad for her and of course for Seulgi. 

Then Seulgi's step mom started spilling the truth to them. She's an evil witch, I swear. She's indeed a psycho.

Stop it eomma!" Seulgi said. 

"Stop calling me that. I am not your mother and you are not my child." She said full of hatred.

"Alright then. Stop it Mrs. Kang." How kind is this bear really? Does she still have respect for this woman? I swear I will call her a if I was in her position. 

"I won't stop unless I kill all of you then I'll start my life again.Thank you for killing the President for me and now boys come in." Soon a couple of men came.  

"Put down your gun Seulgi or she'll die." I winced in pain when Joy tightly wrapped her arms around my neck.
