His body had healed after the miscarriage and his Heat came again after almost four months. He was afraid to hope and fail and lose again, Sehun didn't allow himself to hope but he refused to run away from his Heat. Though, they had kissed and touched, had one time, grown closer and loved each other more than ever. Let me have you,” the older man pleaded, dark irises dilated.   Like perfumed sacred incense, Kai's prayers swirled to him so precious and desperate, faith-imbued and vulnerable and hopeful. How could he deny them? How could he turn a blind ear to them? His Alpha’s voice was sweet and lush, fresh and harmonious, loving and soft. The scent of his honest prayer, powerful beyond his might. To him, more holy than the word of any god or angel. One word from Kai's lips conquered him.  “Yes, yes, take me. Take me and make me forget this pain, Alpha.” Most of the time, Kai enjoyed taking his time undressing him slowly and if he was being honest, he craved the torturous slow burn of clothes and fingertips as they brushed against his fevered skin. But there were other times, like today when the urge commanded them and neither of them had the patience to drag things out, when they just wanted to touch, feel, kiss, , and at desire-ablaze flesh as soon as possible.

Kai's eyes peered open quiveringly, simply to enjoy watching and feeling his mate’s reactions to his touches as his fingers rode up and down the ridges of Sehun's toned stomach. However, as he was busy teasing his mate, the alpha’s eyes suddenly locked and he started to stare into the messy black forest of Sehun's hair, and as his fingers continued to move, a thought suddenly drifted across Kai's mind in response to a cacophony of stimuli. This time Sehun's heat wasn't as long as the previous one(which was odd), they spent a couple of days in the house ing and showing each other how much they loved and wanted the other. The alpha could definitely smell a huge difference in Sehun, and for science Kai took in another penetratingly deep breath, infusing every cell with the omega’s new scent, but the scent was so new and yet so familiar, that it drew out a series of prolonged contractions throughout Kai's body, each one more pleasurable than the last. Not only that though, the new scent, which was much much sweeter, also helped the alpha to feel calm and content, almost numb at the building happiness. Most of all, Sehun's new scent called to Kai's protective instincts like a moth to a flame, or perhaps more appropriately, like a bull to a red rag, the alpha’s grip getting firmer and firmer at every passing thought. The other major difference that Kai noticed was in their link, still powering waves of heat, energy, love and warmth between them, but Kai could definitely sense another life force along it... 'Our baby....' Kai's self-control shattered into a million pieces as he started breaking down, his erratic breaths stuttering out of his nose as his lips tightened and his eyebrows fell, the weight of the impending tears causing the alpha’s eyes to start blinking frantically, all the while still pressing down onto Sehun's tummy, absorbing each and every one of those little taps. With each wheezing intake, more and more light flooded Kai's body, like a warmth was spreading from the centre of his body, reaching every corner of his existence. This was actually happening… Kai was connected to the baby made out of his and Sehun's indescribable love for each other, and he never wanted it to stop… but Kai was fighting, pushing so hard against the primal urge to let go and collapse into tears, hugging Sehun until they couldn’t breathe. Their prayers had been answered, Sehun was pregnant with his child again. “Oh my God thank you so much…” Kai started blurting out in a stumbling combination of laughing and crying, quickly bringing his spare hand up to cover his mouth, not wanting Sehun to wake up just yet. "It's so beautiful." As the baby’s heart kept beating against its dad’s fingers, Kai was somehow gaining confidence from this, and the continuous surges of heat and love he was receiving and sending his mate. Kai tried to bite down on his lips to stop a ludicrously large smile erupting on his face, but he failed miserably as the wish.... Kai blinked and blew a puff of air, it wasn't a wish anymore.... It had become a reality, and it had only just started to sink in. Sehun was giving him the most precious gift in existence, well joint precious, next to his love. He and Sehun were going to be parents for real this time, they'd have sleepless nights with their little baby, countless diaper changes, the chance of showing it to the world, but most of all, showering it with so much love it would never feel alone....  "Oh god..." The alpha exclaimed in desperation, each thought that kept entering his mind was more perfect than the last. The build-up quickly became too much and Kai had to start clenching his fists and clamping down his teeth, hastily bringing a closed fist to his mouth to prevent anymore loud outbursts. As the  saturated air in his lugs was staggeringly expelled through his nose, crashing into his fingers with each breath, Kai's heart grew and grew, unable to contain just how much he ing loved this man in his now shaking arms.  'How can I ever show Sehun how much he means to me?' Kai thought slightly despondently, his euphoria starting to sink fast. Fortunately, a subtle change in Sehun's scent instantly soothed the alpha, numbing his completely irrational fears. 'Did Sehun do that on purpose?' Kai tried to question himself, but the truth was, he didn't have the energy to think anymore. The alpha simply looped his leg over his mate's and tightened his grip, silently thanking his grandparents again as he pulled his mate closer into his grasp until Kai could rest his chin over Sehun's shoulder, and after a few shuffling breaths, he settled down to return to his sleep. "Kai?" Sehun asked out groggily, not quite sure why he did. Sehun had slowly been awakening for some time, and he had been aware of dull voices and some laughing and crying? But he hadn’t felt the need to speed up his waking up for one very good reason… Kai. Sehun could feel his mate’s touch constantly over, and inside his body, and their connection was thundering so strongly it was filling him with so much love and warmth that he felt perfectly happy and content, hell it felt like a third heartbeat…… ”Third?!” Sehun yelled out as his body sprang up, the shock at what he had just thought causing him to awaken roughly and his heart to beat erratically. The omega started reaching around for his love, his chest heaving with his laboured groans and mind frazzled; “Kai?!” Sehun shouted desperately, but it wasn’t necessary as Kai had already sprung his arms around his distressed mate, resting his face and body against Sehun's back, squeezing his love and protection into his mate’s body. Kai's eyes closed as he focused intently on their link, suddenly realising he was able to control it more than he'd done in the past. Kai used this control to send Sehun everything he needed by sharing his strength, and his love for them both. Sehun's hands looped around Kai's strong forearms as the sensations he was receiving along their link helped to calm him, his heart rate steadily returning to normal and his thoughts returned to him. Kai could sense that Sehun was returning to normal, so he decided to push it this time, realising that when Sehun shouted out ‘third’, it could mean that his omega could have been beginning to discover his pregnancy, maybe the Stone's magic did not only allow Kai to sense their child but it also allowed Sehun to feel it as well. “Sehun.. Sehun are you okay?” He asked, peppering his omega’s tight, toned back with light fluffy kisses. After rubbing his thumbs in small circles over Kai's arms, not knowing he was mirroring Kai's movements over his tummy, Sehun responded; “Yeah I’m…. I’m okay Kai…..” he started, thinking briefly about not telling his mate what had happened, but he knew that he wanted 100% honesty with his love, and he wasn’t about to break that. “It’s just… oh this is going to sound silly..” Sehun said stutteringly, shaking his head in disbelief. “Tell me.” Kai said, infusing his voice with a touch of alpha undertones, praying that Sehun would give him the opening he needed.
