i heard a loud ring, there's vibration spreading through my pillow, i reached on the corners of my bed and found my phone, i swiped right and turned my alarm off.

i stretched on my bed, its 6 AM i have to be at the office at 8, i stood up and looked for my glasses that's somewhere in my bed, found it!

i arranged my bed, placing my pillows together, folding my blanket and making the big black teddy bear sit at the corner of my bed.

what should i call you?, i patted the bears head

black bear, kinda reminds me of seulgi

should i call you seulgi? no that's weird

i went straight to the bathroom, i dont have any cooking tools so i have to get breakfast on the cafeteria, good thing all food purchases are paid for due to my scholarship.

 

i was walking down the halls when i heard some girls gossiping about seulgi, good thing its mostly positive

“i haven't seen seulgi around campus for the past few months, she told me she'll call me but she never did”

“her motorcycle is in her usual parking spot everyday”

“yeah but i haven't heard any ual encounter gossips about her”

“i heard she's building a good reputation due to her position”

“i saw her with her secretary this one time”

i guess people have started to see the change in seulgi, i used to drag her to some of her meetings but now she gladly attends them

 

she really did change, she's not that sleazy anymore too but she's still annoying and she likes to make fun of me a lot, she likes bossing me around too, just like this Saturday when she suddenly appeared in my dorm

 

its another day at the office, i entered the lobby and saw joy who's waiting for the elevator

“sooyoung-ah good morning!” i waved at her

“unnie~ good morning!” we entered the elevator

“did you review for that quiz in trigonometry?” we're taking the same trigonometry class

“no, i got caught up in this new drama that I'm watching” park sooyoung has always been lazy but she managed to get by

“yah! thats not wise” i slapped her arm, I'm pretty sure she'd be copying my answers later

the elevator have reached the ASSC’s office, i saw wendy with an apron with yeri carrying a baking dish

“what are you guys making?” i asked them

“brownies!” joy saw the pieces of brownies still on the baking dish and ran towards it

“yah! dont touch it! its still warm and we're not yet finished!” yeri swatted joys hand

“yeri-ah did you finish that financial breakdown that seulgi asked for?” i remembered that seulgi wants to hold a charity event for the orphanage and she needs the estimated numbers that the council might spend in the event.

“yeah, i sent it to your email last night” she said as she tries to protect the brownies from joy who's been trying to sneakily get a piece of it

“I'm teaching yeri how to bake brownies” wendy said

“she's a bad teacher unnie she keeps on scolding me” yeri looked at me as if she's about to cry

“its because you keep on eating the batter!” wendy said as she pinched yeri's cheek

i just laughed at the sight, this dorks

its really fun in this office, even though they're rich spoiled kids they're really down to earth and funny

“irene do you like puppies?” wendy asked out of nowhere

“what? where did that question came from?” I looked at her quizzically

“PUPPIES?!” joy squealed with excitement about hearing an animal

“hm.. nothing” wendy said as she went back to the kitchen

“where's the puppy!?” joy followed wendy

now that's weird

 

i went up the stairs to get to seulgi’s office

when i opened the door, the first thing i saw was seulgi sitting on the couch. she's wearing that leather jacket of hers, there's really something about her today, she seems happy

it took me a few seconds to realize that she's holding something.

now i know why wendy asked that question

“tada!” seulgi lifted the white furry puppy

“what is that?” i just looked at the happy bear

“isn't it obvious? its a puppy!” she said as she the back of the puppy

“i know, but what is he doing here?” i don't hate animals, I'm just scared of them, they have fangs and claws and its scary.

“i found him on my way here, isn't he cute?” she said as she cooed at the puppy, what an ironic sight, a girl in a black leather jacket with a small puppy in her hand

“what if he has an owner?” i said as i put my stuff into my desk, i turned my computer on

“no he doesn't, he's part of the kang family now” she keeps on petting the pup

“what if he's dirty? what if he makes a mess in the office? what if your mom doesn't like him?” i sat in front of her waiting for my computer to boot

“chill there tyrant, is it possible that you dont like puppies?” she looked at me as if im the worst person in the world

“its not that i dont like them, don't you think they're scary?”

“what?! is this cute face scary?! look at him!” she placed the pup on the coffee table, sniffing around the magazines

“well he's still small and cute so i guess not” but I'm not touching that thing

“come on!” she suddenly grabbed my hand and placed it on the puppy's head

“see? he's nice”she said as the pup the palm of my hand

“y-yeah, what do you want to name him?” the puppy is surprisingly gentle and calm

“pikachu!~” seulgi said as she cooed at the small puppy, seulgi has a really cute and soft side and she's adorable like this

“really? pikachu from Pokémon?, i didn't know you're some kind of nerd” i teased, i went to my desk to check this nerds schedule

“what? i had a fun childhood thanks to Pokémon”

I imagined the young version of seulgi playing trading cards and watching the series, its fun thing to think about what her childhood was like

 

i looked at the calendar app for the ASSC and opened the schedule for seulgj, her class is canceled but her schedule is packed with meetings and events

“I've got a good news and a bad news, what do you want to know first?”i asked her as i printed her schedule

“hm.. good news first” she said she turned to my direction waiting for me to talk

“well your 3 hour long abstract painting class was canceled” i saw her making air punches obviously happy about the cancelation

“okay, please dont tell me that my class was replaced with meetings again!” she looked at me its as she's pleading for mercy

“too bad kang seulgi the odds are not in your favor today ” i gave her the printed schedule and she's now in the couch making tantrums like a 5 year old kid

“its so unfair! it's supposed to be a free time!’ she's pouting like a kid when you take away her candy

“why are you like this? its not like its the first time that your schedule is pure work” i sat in front of her i grabbed a magazine from the coffee table, i noticed that pikachu wants to jump from the coffee table, i grabbed him and put him on the floor

“cause no one's gonna take care of pikachu while we're gone~” she's still acting like a kid

“you're really childish you know that? we should replace that leather jacket with a bib” i put out my phone and sent a message to joy

“sooyoung-ah~ are you busy? can you come up here?”

“sure sure”

 

after just a few seconds and joy came into the office, the first thing she saw was the puppy and she basically ran to pet it, as if its the cutest thing in the world

“joy would be the one to take care of him while we're away, is that okay sooyoung? ” seulgi seemed to be okay with the idea as she finally composed her self

“of course unnie! whats his name?” joy was playing with the dog non stop

“this nerd right here called him pikachu” i pointed at seulgi

“that's a weird name for a dog unnie” joy looked at seulgi

“yeah i know, but its okay cause he's cute!” seulgi then stood up

“we still have to buy him food and toys, i just got him this morning” seulgi went to get a helmet and a spare helmet, i guess im coming with her

“catch” she threw me the helmet, this time i caught it firmly

“okay say goodbye to mommy and daddy pikachu~” joy held the dog and waved his paws goodbye

“what? mommy and daddy!?” what the..

“i call dibs on daddy” i turned to look at kang seulgi and she's already inside the elevator with that smirk on her face

“guess you'll be mommy” joy snickered

“no im not!” i said as i followed seulgi, who's been keeping the elevator open for me

“lets go wifey~” seulgi teased and winked at me

i heard sooyoung squealing like a teenage girl on the background

argh seriously!

“im not your wife!” i got inside the elevator and glared at seulgi, she's really enjoying this

“from now on you'll call me hubby” seulgi suddenly grabbed me by the waist and it caught me off guard

i heard a camera click and it was joy, she took a photo of us!

“y-yah! delete that sooyoung! and s-seulgi close the goddamn elevator!” i tried to get away from hold but she wouldn't budge

is the ac broken? i feel hot all of a sudden

“not until you call me hubby” seulgi pulled me closer

her face is just a few inches from mine

too close kang seulgi!

“HUBBY!” my heart is beating so loud, whats wrong?

i want to wipe that smirk off her face

“happy now?” i pushed her by her shoulders to make a distance between us, i think I'm sweating and why am i so nervous? i feel something weird on my stomach, am i getting sick?

 

seulgi finally lets go of me and she closed the elevator doors

“why did you do that?!” i punched her arm

“what? its fun to tease you like that” she held her now sore arm and sheepishly grinned

“that was embarrassing” i placed my hand on my chest forcing my heart to please calm down and why are you even beating so loud!?
