Dinner at the Kang's

“thats not the way to the board room miss kang!” i yelled at the hallway as i see seulgi turn to the opposite direction, im not gonna be there to watch out for her because of my classes but before i go to my class i followed her first to see if she'll go but this happened.

“how many times do i have to repeat my self?!” its already 8 in the evening but this bear(as wendy addresses seulgi) keeps on intentionally making mistakes, that sly smile of her keeps on appearing as i loose my mind over this opening speech of hers

“what? i really cant remember the next words”

“oh come on! you barely said 2 words!” this bear really gets on my nerves

“no you cant wear that!” i accompanied this bear to the mall, we're looking for a good dress for the university's evening ball because apparently according to wendy this bear doesn't wear dresses

“what?! it looks cool” the bear held up the ugly frilly yellow dress

“kang seulgi we're not yet finished!” i caught this bear sneaking out from another meeting, all i got from her was a sheepish grin as she turn back into the meeting room

“i was just going to the cafeteria” she said

“yeah im not falling for that again” for god sake we have a pantry in the office this bear doesn't need to go to the cafeteria

“nope, you have to stay for the meeting” i crossed my arms and glared at her. were in a meeting for the school sports festival and we've been her for 3 hours already

“but I've given them so many ideas already~” she said as she adorably pouts

“really? aegyo?“ seulgi does cute things and its very uncharacteristic of her

“hey no spacing out” i waved my hand in front of her, i was discussing her today's schedule when this bear suddenly spaced out

“no, i was just wondering”she says as she continue her gaze

“about what?” her gaze is starting to make me feel uncomfortable

“how can such beautiful package have such a cruel and uptight personality” i saw her hand move towards me, the next thing i know she's brushing a stray hair from the side of my face, i dont know how and why but i felt a sudden heat creeping up on my cheek

“yah! im just doing my job!” i swatted her hand

We were about to leave the office when a limousine stopped infront of us, a woman oozing with authoritative aura stepped out, i recognized her as the university president, every one of us greeted her aside from seulgi, i tugged at the bear’s arm and forced her to bow as well.

“i hope you guys dont have any agenda tonight, id like to invite everyone of you to dinner” i dont know but there's something about her that can really scare me, she's like seulgi but the bad girl aura was replaced with dictator aura.

“sure madam president, it an honor to be your guest” wendy said

“what is this mom?” seulgi asked with her arms crossed

“why? is it so bad to see and get to know the people you work with” Mrs. Kang said, as if its for everyone but she's directly looking at me.

i felt a nudge on my arm, it was wendy.

“Relax, auntie is a nice person, she can be really intimidating but dont worry” she whispered, auntie? oh right she's childhood friends with seulgi

“i know this is sudden but I'd be leaving the country for an academic council meeting and my schedule is really packed every day, it just so happens that i have tonight free” she said, she smiled at seulgi

“its okay madam president, we'll come” joy said with an awkward smile

“I'm really curious about President’s house” yeri said with a grin

seulgi was just quiet, she's not happy about this

The kang's house, wait, i think the correct word is mansion, no no no palace, thats it.

The kang's palace was so… i dont know what to say, I've seen several mansions in tv before but this, its on a much different level all the gold and white decors and furniture looks so expensive, the garden was as big as the one we have in the university and the gate was bigger than what the university has, everything resembles a palace, i looked at joy and yeri and they seem to be amazed as i do while wendy and the bear is just on their phone

we we're asked to stay on the living area as seulgi went to her room to change clothes and her mom went to her the office

the living room have a huge family painting, here I can see seulgi, madam president, her husband and a guy wearing a military uniform that i assume as seulgi’s brother

“wendy-ah that's seulgi’s brother right?” yeri asked

“yup! he's a military general, really scary and strict” wendy said

“he kinda look like seulgi with a mustache, now we know what he would look like if he's a guy” joy joked.

“what are you talking about?” speaking the devil the bear is back, and for the first time i saw her wearing a white blouse patterned with flowers, a necklace, a skirt and her hair down.

“where did the white shirt and leather jacket kang seulgi signature go?” i

“just get this dinner over with” she said with a very irritated expression

“i guess auntie made you wear that” wendy snickered

we ate at their family dining room (according to Mrs. Kang), i think the ceiling here is so much higher than the actual height of our house, im surrounded by huge paintings with gold frames, on top of me is a huge chandelier.

the only thing i know in my plate now is steak,

but this shiny red dome i dont even know if its edible(i guess they wouldn't have put that in my plate if it isnt)

“so may i know more about your secretary seulgi” Mrs. Kang looked at me with no discernable expression

“she's a tyrant and a bully” seulgi said with grin

“then she's doing it right” for the first time i Mrs. Kang smile directly at me

“its because you're lazy” i teased seulgi

“I've actually seen you drag seulgi to her meetings” Mrs. kang's smile grew wider

“your daughter keeps on escaping” i feel more comfortable now

“feel free to tie her to a chair” she quipped

“I'll buy handcuffs for her” i added, i can already see seulgi pouting like a child

“yah! don't you dare” seulgi playfully slapped my arm

“she's a good addition to the council” wendy said with a smile
