Seulgi’s

its been 7 days and i haven't wont a single game, i shouldn't have come up with that deal, theres no way we'd have progress if this goes on

"better luck next time bear" she pats my head

"I'm the queen of games~" she smiled sweetly while im in agony

"paper beats rock bye~" i really want to pinch those cheeks

"are you sure about this deal?" she smirked at me

"daddy you have to play better than that" that sweet voice again

"oh my poor daddy losses again~" oh god

"come on daddy when will you be able to win?" i want to wipe that sly smile on her face

"come and get me daddy"

what a mean little tease you are bae juhyun

the inner monster in me just wants to grab her by her waist and kiss her like crazy

 

"seulgi-ah snack time" i looked up and saw wendy with a plate of red velvet cupcakes

"yes thank you" i grabbed one and plunged it in my mouth

its a long weekend wendy visited me, yeri is on vacation, joy decided to go on a road trip and my bae juhyun is back in her home town

i let out a sigh and slumped into my bed, im so bored. 3 days before i could even see juhyun, i miss her already~

i looked at wendy and she's watching a game on TV, we usually spend weekends like this if none of us is busy, wendy would make snacks and we'll watch a game or a movie

"wendy, irene lives in a tourist spot right?"

"yeah, near the beach" i want to see her, she's responding to my messages but its not enough

i felt a weight on my stomach i looked down to see Pikachu resting on my lap

"do you miss mommy?" i asked the pup while i ruffle his fur

"really? or is it you who misses mommy?" wendy looked at me with that teasing smile

"im not that clingy you know" no kang seulgi you'll get to see her again in Tuesday

"so you're telling me that all this gloating and loud sighs are nothing? why dont you just make it official you know" she looked at me intently

because i want to work hard for it, i want to court her, i want to show her how much i want this. i want to do this in a conventional way unlike my past relationships

"she's jealous of that pretty girl from sports fest, its obvious that she has feelings for you" wendy said as she smiled and looked back at the tv

i was with irene and she's assisting me with my needs like providing me water and dry towels back in my basketball game when suddenly a pretty girl approached me and asked me out right in front of my Juhyun. i can see her boring holes into that girl and im more than happy about it, my Bae Juhyun being jealous is such an adorable sight. i didn't go out with the girl but she's mad at her for being 'extra touchy' on me

my phone notified me about a new message

honey: saw a teddy bear with a leather jacket reminded me of you kkk~

seulgi: missed me already? ^ ^

i clicked send, theres nothing wrong with trying.

it took a few minutes before she responded

honey:if i say yes what would you do?

seulgi: id be there in a heart beat!

honey: come here then^ ^

i grabbed my phone and my jacket

"yah where are you going?" wendy asked as i look for my wallet almost flipping all the furniture just to find it

"somewhere, take care of Pikachu while I'm away!" i made a mad dash out of the room, i ignored the questions from our maids and went straight to the garage

i decided to use a car this time, wish i know how to pilot our chopper it would be a lot more quicker

normally it will take you 3 hours to get to their province but since i decided to break all the traffic laws just to see my bae Juhyun

weirdly enough this place kinda looks familiar, it didn't take me a while to navigate around the town. im in front of their house in less than 1 and a half hour

i dialed my bunny on her phone and it only took 2 rings for her to answer

"hello?" that sweet voice

"hi honey, are you home?"

"yes why?" upon hearing that i heard a window being open, i looked up and saw my surprised bunny with her phone still in her ear

"my honey says she's missing me" i said on the phone and immediately i saw her sweet smile

she went outside and i was almost caught off guard by her hug

"awe my bunny missed me so much huh?" how can you just not love her when she's so adorable like this?! 

 hugged her back taking advantage of this moment

"guess I'm so used to being annoyed every single day, it feels weird when no one does it" she smiled shyly her face already red

"yeah i miss someone bossing me around every day" i teased she pinched my sides

we just stared at each other purely happy about being together when i heard foot steps approaching, i looked up to see an older woman. 

"oh seems like we have a visitor" upon hearing her words my bunny immediately backed away

"hi im Juhyun's mother"

"now i know where those good looks came from, im seulgi her co-officer" she replied with a hearty laugh. her mom really is beautiful, i can tell she looked a lot like Juhyun when she was her age

"Juhyun have talked about you a lot" she said as she pulled me inside, while my Juhyun begs her mom not to tattle tale

"oh, i hope she's saying good things" i looked at my shy bunny

"not at first" her mom laughed

"mom no!" irene is now defenseless

"but she's saying good things lately, i think she's been crushing on you" her mom teased my bunny and its the cutest thing

"is she?" i teased my embarrassed bunny

we went inside their house, this is the first time I'd be visiting a 'common house' mine and Wendy's house is definitely not like this, its cozier than our house

i think Mrs bae knows this is my first time in a place like this as she toured me around

"this is Juhyun back in grade school" Mrs bae showed me a picture of juhyun in her grade school uniform complete with a backpack and her packed lunch with that huge bunny smile

"you look so cute" i cooed at the bunny beside me

my bunny back in her younger years and she is absolutely adorable and gorgeous 

she showed me this wall with random marks, she said irene and her siblings marks their heights here. i looked intently and i saw my bunny's height back in her younger years, i can now imagine a small cute girl marking her height here

"guess you stopped growing back in 2011" i teased my shy bunny

"yah! im average in height you know" she's glaring at me.

i also got to see Irene’s class pictures which showed how my cute little bunny transitioned to a wonderful lady

"your height didn't change since middle school to high school" 

"yah! stop the height jokes or I'll kick you out!" she punched my arm

"im just stating facts you know"

"i swear when we got invited to your house again id unravel all your photos" she's glaring at me again

 

Mrs bae asked irene to fetch her brother from school. i was asked to wait in the kitchen, mrs bae offered me some apples 

"Juhyun's been talking about you every day" i looked up upon hearing that, i was expecting a smile but to my surprise she's serious

"your family owns that famous casino in the city and that 5 star hotel just a few blocks away from here, right?" she looked me in the eye waiting for an answer, now i know why the roads and town plaza seems familiar

"yes maam" i dont know why but im nervous

"and the university?"

"yes" the atmosphere around us feels different 

"and a whole lot more, right?" 

"yes" the air thickens and it became much harder to breathe 

she's slicing the apples while she's asking me this questions and i feel like every slice hits me

"a happy and safe Juhyun , that's all i want ms kang" she smiled at me but it's not the same motherly smile she showed me earlier

"if she's happy with you then i don't have anything against you" i-is that a go signal? she likes me?

"yes, it's okay for you to go out with her" those words scared the living hell out of me

is she a mind reader or something?

i dont think so

i didn't overthink her words I'm just happy that she's okay with me

"thank you Mrs bae and don't worry I'll take good care of her" i smiled at her, i want to tell her how serious i am with her daughter but i decided to tell her this in another time the atmosphere is still a bit awkward

she stood up and grabbed a glass of water

"so i heard you're taking arts?" she came back and placed the water in front of me

"yes maam" im still tensed from our conversation

"relax now seulgi, i just happened to watch a whole lot of dramas on tv and seeing my daughter head over heels in some rich daughter of a conglomerate made me worry" 

"i just hope that the unfamiliar black car that seems to follow me around town was just a coincidence" she smiled at me.

"what? ma'am i dont know anything about that" how can i relax with that remark? 

"maybe I'm just seeing things. just forget about that, i have a few errands to run so kindly wait here im sure Juhyun would be back any minute now" 

 

i decided not to overthink, maybe it's just a coincidence

after a few minutes my Juhyun came back with a cute little boy which i assumed as her brother

the kid immediately ran upstairs completely ignoring me

"wanna go out for a walk on the beach?" she asked as she sat next to me 

"sure but rest first" i moved my untouched glass of water in front of her

"where's Pikachu?" she asked before she drinked

"back home with wendy"

"why didn't you bring him? i miss him" she's pouting, so cute

i leaned forward and whispered to her ear

"cause honey i want you all to my self" i moved back to see a shy and red bunny slapping my shoulder

"y-yah! honestly I'd rather see Pikachu than you"

"like id believe you" i teased

"im serious, he's fluffy and cute" 

"hey i can be fluffy and cute too" 

"no you're more like a bad girl"

"the more accurate description is cool and y" i playfully winked at her

"nope you're arrogant and disgusting"

i just laughed at that remark, i know she likes me her mother basically exposed her on me

Irene’s

we're walking on the beach with the sun setting down highlighting her every feature. everything about her is perfect

the way her eyes turns into perfect crescents

the way she smiles when she thinks im being funny

even the way she pouts when i get to her nerves

the way she pretends that she did nothing as she sneakily held my hand as we walk on the beach

the sunset here is perfect i watched it everyday ever since i was a kid but right now all i wanted to look at was her

i want to savor this perfect moment with her

i couldn't believe that i used to hate you so much but now I've been so drawn to you that there's not a minute of everyday that I'm not thinking about you

what did you do to me you huge annoying bear

"is it alright if i stay here for a while?" she asked while looking at the sunset

"what do you mean stay here?"

"like a sleepover" she looked at me this time

"well it's a bit dangerous to drive far back to the city since its about to get dark already, i guess you could stay" i saw that glint of excitement in her eyes

"yah! wait! you're family owns that huge hotel not far from here" i remembered the conversation with my mother when i told her that I'd be working for kang seulgi, she told me that their family owns that 5 star hotel

"too late! you already said yes!" the skipping bear said as she went back to our house
