Athene University(AU) the most prestigious university in the country, the university building was a huge castle on the outside but luxurious and modern on the inside, only rich people and scholars can enter the university which is known for their wealthy students and outstanding quality of teaching.

Its been a week since the school’s opening and the announcement of scholars is finally out, hundreds of hopeful hearts was broken that day, 20 out of 498 was accepted in the prestigious university.

Bae Irene was lucky enough to pass the interview and the exams to enrol in AU, this was her dream school and her parents are very happy about their daughter getting into the very prestigious school and she promised herself that she would not let them down. When irene entered the administrative building she went straight to Scholarships and Financial Assistance Office, on her acceptance letter she was asked to go to the said office to choose what kind of scholarship she would like.

The school offers 5 different scholarships

1. ) Athene Supreme Student Council Scholarship - in accordance to the ASSC’s by laws the said organization should offer a scholarship and financial assistance on a student that’s willing to serve as the president’s secretary.if the said student passes the exam and interview that would be done by the president himself, he/she would be granted the following:

 - Full scholarship(Free tuition fee)

 - Free food expenses on the facilities inside the university

 - Free uniform

 - Free Books

 - Free Dormitory

 - With monthly allowance

2. ) Kang Foundation Grant - as a gift from the Kang Family(founders of this institution) once the student passed their interview and exam, the said foundation would be granting the following:

- Full Scholarship

- Free Dormitory

3. ) Knowledge and Excellence Grant - The student should maintain a grade of 95 and above in all subjects by the end of the semester. This grant would take effect every after semester all fees(Tuition fee, books, uniform & food) paid by the student under this grant can be refunded.
4. ) Municipal Scholarship - This grant would be requested to the municipal office, if the said student passed all the requisites according to the standards set by the governor he/she would be granted the following:

- Full Scholarship

- Free Uniform

5. ) President’s Choice - this grant would be given by the university president under his conditions. The conditions would depend on the following:

- the student must maintain a grade of 90 and above

- the student must not commit any misbehavior in her stay in the university

The student under this grant would be given the following:

- Full Scholarship

- Free uniform

- Free books

 

It was obvious that the first grant was the best choice for Irene. first she would be free of all things that are expensive in this university and secondly she wouldn't have to worry about the dormitory anymore. Irene lives in the province at the farthest part of the country and AU is in the center of the city. this grant was perfect for her so she picked it. once she said that, the person in front of her went to the telephone and dialed someone

“Good morning student council someone is applying for secretary, is it still available?”

“yes, ill tell her to go there now”

 

Irene was directed to go to the student government tower and head to the board room, it was not hard to find for Irene as it was located in the center of the university, apparently it was that huge tower with a clock that can be seen even far from the university.

 

When irene opened the door that says ‘Board room’ she was greeted by a smiling girl who introduced herself as wendy the vice president of ASSC

 

Irene was nervous but thankfully Wendy immediately joked around and helped her feel at ease, Wendy then apologized since it was the president that was supposed to interview her but the later was busy attending a meeting

 

“Do you have any past experiences in working as someones secretary?” wendy asked while pouring tea in a cup and placed it in front of irene and gestured her to drink

 

“I havent but I worked as a student assistant back in high school, I think its almost the same thing” irene drank the tea, it was a good tea and somehow made her feel calm

 

“i’d be honest with you, this job is mostly baby sitting the president and making sure she follows schedules” wendy joked

 

“dont worry! I have a 5 year old brother and a 9 year old sister so babysitting is a piece of cake” Irene said with a grin, its true she can handle naughty kids and wendy hopes she could handle the presidents kind of naughtiness

 

Wendy handed her a list of things she would be doing as a secretary.

1. Make sure that the president’s schedule is correct and updated
2. Make sure that the president follows his/her schedules
3. Follow the orders of the president
4. Take notes for the president every time the council holds a meeting
5. Write memos and letters for the president
6. Be with the president in all her meetings
7. Help the president maintain a good image as a leader
8. Answer calls for the president

 

“are you still up for it?” wendy asked irene with an anxious look

 

“sure! I can do this”irene said with a look of determination, she knows that this will be tough since she also have to attend classes but this is her best choice for a scholarship, she convinced her self that she can do this. That look of determination convinces wendy that she’s the right person.

 

Just a few questions and wendy had approved of irene, wendy now knows why she went for this grant, she now knows about irene’s need for this kind of financial support and she supports her.

 

Wendy gave irene a confirmation certificate to pass on the Scholarships and Financial Assistance Office and a key in her new dorm room. Wendy told irene that she would start tomorrow morning. Irene used the rest of the day to settle her belongings in her new dorm room, her new room is 2 times bigger than her own room back home, it comes with a tv, a full bathroom, a huge bed, and a desk. Irene still had time in her hands and she spent it on roaming around the campus she tried to memorize the directions but the campus was too huge that's why she decided to stop,rest and enjoy her free time at the garden

 

Irene was relaxing on a bench when she heard a girl giggling, irene looked at their direction and saw a couple cuddling in a bench

 

“yah! Seulgi-ah stop that we’re in public!” the girl said

 

Irene noticed that the other girls hand was in the girl’s bare thigh

 

“how indecent” Irene mumbled

 

Irene went to the cafeteria to grab dinner, she saw the prices and was so glad that according to wendy she only have to present her ID when paying for food and it would be free cause those prices was way off her budget.

 

Irene sat at the farthest corner table to have a little time for herself, irene feels like she couldn’t get along with the rich kids, its not like she’s gonna be a loner forever but she doesnt want to be with the wrong crowd for now.

 

She was busy eating and when she looked up to observe the rich kids she saw that familiar face, it was that indecent girl she saw at the park earlier today but this time she’s with a different girl.

 

“a friend probably” irene thought. That thought didn’t last when she saw the unnamed indecent girl and the other pretty girl started to make out

 

“what the?!” she exclaimed

 

“what an ” irene thought to herself

 

Irene was almost finished eating and looked up again to observe the people around her. she happened to lock eyes with the unnamed indecent girl, she was quite shocked and uncomfortable with the gaze but she didn’t show it, they had a stare down and the other girl suddenly smirked.

 

“I’m not gonna be one of your toys” irene told her self and stood up to leave the place

 

The next day irene finally had a subject schedule. Irene’s morning is free, her classes starts at 1:30 pm this means she’ll be doing her secretariat job at the council by morning. Irene went to the student government tower and asked the person at the help desk for directions to the office, she was directed to go to the elevator and just pres 2 and the vice president would guide her to the presidents office since its her first day.

 

She reached the said floor and saw a huge office with a few desks and shelves. wendy was the only person at the office right now, the girl was easy to spot since she’s in the sofa in the center of the office.

 

“good morning!” she waved at her. Wendy told her that she can relax when she’s in the office since they have a chill vibe around here and theres no need to be all formal

 

“ready to finally meet your boss?” wendy teased

 

“yes! Lets get this babysitting started” she joked

 

“sorry im the only one right now, but maybe after an hour the other officers would be here as well” wendy said as she direct irene upstairs where the presidents office is.

 

Wendy didn’t knock when she opened the door that has the words ‘Presidential Suite’ on it and the girl regrets that she didn’t knock upon seeing whats happening inside the office.

 

Irene was shocked when the door opened just for her to see that unnamed indecent girl seating at the desk while making out with a half girl in front of her, the two looked at the intruders and irene noted that it was a different girl again.

 

Wendy was shocked but just sighed after registering what’s happening

 

“so this is kang seulgi the president, and your babysitting starts now!” wendy said pointing at the girl who’s sitting at the desk. She then lightly pushed irene inside the office and immediately closing the door, leaving irene in the awkward situation.

 

The half girl finally dressed up but she’s still pretty much glued to the president’s arms

 

“now I know who’s the new hot girl in school” seulgi said with a smirk.

 

The girl in seulgi’s arms started glaring at irene as if she’s boring holes on irene’s skin

 

Irene just sighed.

 

“this would be a different kind of babysitting then” irene thought to herself as she held the temple of her head feeling intense pain inside her head.
