The Sun and Moon (JeongMi)
TWICE Royal ShotsA blind date.
Yes, an event that Mina was forced to go through because of her friend..
She didn't want to. But the thought that the person she's going to meet already agreed to it, made Mina think, "What could go wrong?"
And then, she was there. Inside a fancy restaurant. Being lead by the waiter to their table.
"This is too fancy for my taste," she said to herself. "And expensive."
She was walking through the dining hall, wearing a fit, red dress, with her hair curled a little bit.
Mina felt stares on her, making her uncomfortable. She just roamed her eyes around the room until they fell on a familiar person near her. Alone.
Mina immediately knew who the person was and made her way to them. As she arrived behind the person, she tapped their shoulder.
"Jeongyeon-ie?" And Mina was right. It was her.
Jeongyeon turned around to see who called her and saw Mina. She was stunned for a moment as she basked in the elegant presence of the other girl.
"M-Mi-" Jeongyeon cleared . "Mina. What are you doing here?" She scanned the person in front of her. "And what's with the outfit? Meeting with someone?" She wiggled her eyebrows.
Mina chuckled, "Actually, yes. I'm going to meet someone." And that caught Jeongyeon off guard.
She shook her head a little before smirking at the penguin. "And who's the unlucky guy?" And she got a playful slap of the shoulder and a whine for the latter.
"I don't actually know who the person is personally. Sana has set me up with them and I can't just say no." Mina sighed.
"Well, it came from Sana. I think you'll be okay." Jeongyeon shrugged.
"What about you? What are you doing here? Waiting for Nayeon?"
"Yep, as usual. She's late again." Jeongyeon crossed her arms and shook her head. "I just hope she shows up this time."
Mina remembered all the stories of Jeongyeon and her girlfriend. The fact that Nayeon always bailed on her and getting late. It has been going on for a long time and Mina has always wondered why Jeongyeon was still putting up with her.
She laid her hand on the other's shoulder. "I know she will. Just believe."
"Yeah. I'm just... getting tired of this."
"You can get through this. I'll be going to my table now. See you later." The latter nodded and Mina started to walk to her table.
Mina thanked the waiter and sat down on the chair. As she was waiting for her date, she stared at Jeongyeon who was frowning at her phone, obviously losing her patience.
Minutes has passed with her looking at Jeongyeon, she didn't notice someone taking a seat in front of her.
Her attention was grabbed when the person coughed. Mina looked at her date and saw someone she didn't expect to see.
"Son Chaeyoung?" She asked loudly. Causing for someone to spare a glance at them.
The latter chuckled, "Well, yes. That's my name. So, are you Myoui Mina?"
"Y-Yes." Mina combed her hair. "I didn't expect to meet you. I didn't know you're close with Sana."
"We have been in the same course for a long time now." Chaeyoung clasped her hands. "What I didn't know was that she was close with the 'Myoui Mina'."
Mina giggled and felt someone staring at her. She glanced where the stare was coming from and met with Jeongyeon's eyes.
It was for a second before the latter looked away.
"Who are you looking at?" Chaeyoung followed Mina's line of sight.
"No one. I thought I saw someone I know." Mina waved her hand in dismissal and smiled coyly.
"Okay, then. How about we order now?" Chaeyoung picked up her menu, smiled at Mina then scanned through the menu.
During their eating time, the couple talked about each other and what they want to achieve in the future. Mina was still side-glancing at Jeongyeon while the latter was glaring at the two of them.
