kim jongdae, 26 year-old detective who’s hardly respected by his coworkers and certainly not respected by his boss. he’s been single for a few years, he’s gone nowhere in his professional life, and while he’s not depressed he’s certainly discontent.

enter kim minseok, paired with jongdae because good ‘ole boss man thought it was funny they had the same family name. he’s a transfer from the other side of the country, older than jongdae and with a stature that demands recognition. an ex-soldier who’d turned to the police force when he’d come home from fighting, it’s almost laughable that he’s the rookie and jongdae is the more experienced one.
