The driving beat from the club pulsated through the night air as you sauntered down the alley toward the entrance.  Men and women leaning against the brick walls eyed you as you passed, but you ignored them; you were on the hunt.

Nodding to the bouncer as you breezed by the line, you descended the steps into the dark underground club.  Soon you were surrounded by bodies dancing, undulating, pressing against you.  Allowing yourself to be swayed by the movement of the gyrating masses, you bore forward, heading for the bar.  

Upon reaching your destination, it didn’t take long for the bartender to notice you.  After all, you stood head and shoulders above everyone else, an Amazon amoungst peasants.  The sea green hair helped.  Most people thought that it was dyed.  It wasn’t.

Your wings, folded under your skin, tucked tight to your shoulder blades, itched. Something was here tonight.  Something good.  You just had to find out what.

“Screaming , please!” you called to the bartender.  He lifted an eyebrow, and tilted his head, sliding you a cocky smirk.  “Simmer down, Jongin, and make my bloody drink!”

He pouted, looking more like himself as he started to make your drink.  “How many times do I have to tell you?  When I’m at work, it’s Kai!”

“Tell that to someone who doesn’t remember when you used to be afraid of the dark!”

He chuckled, seductive smirk back in full effect.  “That hasn’t been a problem in a long, long time, honey.  Shall I show you?”
