CHAPTER 9:

They were currently in the studio right now because Joy got another schedule for her photo shoot in magazine for another brand. Yup Joy is famous right now, so many of the company wants her right now. And she loves the attention that the company giving her, running around like a mad person just to get her and one of the victims right now is the company of Irene. She believe in her own perspective that “if you want something then work hard for it ” it’s more like “ if you want me then chase me”. You could tell that Joy is a narcissistic person but this her way to make craved the other company for her, to make them excite more.

And poor Wendy she witnesses the crucial hardship of the other company by tagging at them. But she’s just a manager even though she explained to Joy the situations that don’t be too hard to them, but Joy will just smiled at her and just shrugged it off. So in the final, Joy will be the one to decide.

And right now she’s sitting in the corner and looking at Joy while comfortable posing for the brand she agreed to work.

As she sat in the corner and waited to time passed, the director in the shoot decide to have a break. So Joy immediately went to Seungwan to have a relaxed just in a mean time.

“ Wow Ms. Joy you did great you really working hard for today, so what do you want to eat? Maybe you can have a bite to sustain your energy” Seungwan said

“ Such sweet of you ummm…don’t buy food it’s the stuff to run errands because in the contract said they will provide some foods and beverages” Joy said to her because she don’t want Seungwan to look like Running errands. It’s not like she have a bias but Seungwan is different from her previous Manager. Because she got dibs for Seungwan and she will not let others to manipulate her. She’s the only one to have that rights.

“Are you sure? am doing nothing anyway maybe I could help you get some drinks” Seungwan insisted because she was bored to death and she doesn’t have a work to do like in her previous work

“YUP, just stay there beside me and just relaxed” Joy said

“ Eyyy Ms. Joy I have been sitting in a long and my is getting numb, maybe I should massage your head” Seungwan said and before Joy could utter some words to stop her, she already doing it.

She was massaging Joy’s shoulder when she remembered the previous conversation of her and Irene. And being a curious cat as ever, she asked Joy about that because she wanted to confirm it.

“umm I just heard it somewhere Ms. Joy… so are you going to work with your father and Ms. Irene’s business?”

“ WE, Seungwan You and I will work together…” then Joy look into my eyes but then she continues what she was talking about

“I mean you’re my manager right so we should stick together” Joy said while looking at Seugwan the thought of like she was telling some other things but Seungwan is still thinking about the project that she propose to Irene and the future that she would work under Irene. So Seungwan didn’t mind what Joy was talking about

“ So we’re going to work for them but… I didn’t see any schedule for them. Mind if you tell Ms. Joy ”

“ Oh that? HA HA I’m still not reconsidering their offer so they still chasing me.” Joy said and while Seungwan massaging Joy’s shoulder but then there is an intruder that walked through the door and her wandering mind back from reality again. Both of them looked to the person who got entered in the door. And from a far the Lady walked like in a stunning way everything about her screams perfect though Joy was attracted to her eyes also. And she wish that she didn’t looked to that person because she was looking at her in glared ‘liked what-are-you-doing-here’ and looked again to Ms. Joy. Then Seungwan remembered that she didn’t mention to Ms. Irene that she was working also under the roof of Ms. Joy.

“So Irene what’s the matter that your foot lead you here?” Joy said in a mischievous smile and Irene just in a poker face

“ Irene? I’m older than you yet you called me in an informal manner, and I think you know why am here so don’t act up like you don’t know anything” Irene said

“ Oh really? Okay Ms. Irene Older than me, you know what if you keep on being serious maybe you’ll get old easily and no one will like you” Joy said while mocking her and because of that Irene gain a sympathy to Seungwan without knowing it. Because Seungwan think that Joy is really in below the belt. And she know that chasing some artist is really hard because she experience it before when she was working in the company because she become slave just to make the artist sign to their contract. Seungwan feel sensitive right now for Irene and she didn’t know the reason, maybe because Irene was different from others.

“ Tsk I don’t have a time for your games right now Joy, you should decide right now and You Ms. Son what are you doing here? I think you have explanation to do” Irene said to Joy then after she looked at Seungwan

“So the both of you already met?” Joy asked and she looked puzzled because Seungwan didn’t mention that she already met Irene

“ I-a Y-yes we already met…” Seungwan was in a middle of explanation when the stuff interrupted them

“ Ms. Joy we need to start now” then the staff live the room

“ you’re going to explain it to me after this shoot” Joy said to Seungwan then she turned to Irene and glared. Then she walked out through the door and that live her with Irene, and she need to explain to Irene also.

“ So Ms. Son Mind if you talked now” Irene said then she crossed her arm like she was waiting for an explanation to her boyfriend.

“ ummm so Ms. Irene I-I forget to tell you yesterday that I was working as a manager under the proof of Ms. Joy HA HA” Seungwan said then she laughed in an awkward while she’s scratching her nape as if she was itching in that area.

“ You know that we’re talking about business yesterday and you know that I mention Joy that she would be the Model, yet you didn’t even told me?! Give me a good reason for that” Iren said she was in flamed right now because Seungwan didn’t even mention that she was working with Joy. If she mention a bit earlier maybe she was in a relax now and she isn’t chasing Joy right now

“ I-Ah ummm maybe I’m going to help you in return for not telling you that Ms. Irene” Seungwan said because she can’t give a good reason for an excuse.. so to decrease the temperature in the room she think a solution that could help Irene

“ You should be, anyway in what way your going to help me?” Irene asked

“ Maybe I could help you to persuade Ms. Joy?” Seungwan said in a question because she’s not sure if Irene would agree for that.

“ Ok Deal, you should persuade Joy while me I’m going to do my Job to prepare all that we needed in project. You must kept your promised. I need you to inform me that everyday so where is your phone” Irene said then Seungwan give her phone to Irene. Then Irene typed something in her phone. And a minute later a text ring tone echoed in room. And Irene checked her phone

“ So Ms. Son that is my number and you should save it to your contact and I will save it yours” Irene said and Seungwan just nodding every Irene muttered
