Chapter Seven : The Visitor
Sequel - My Bias Texted MeI turned away from (Y/N) when the doorbell of our house rang, causing (Y/N) to frown. We had been watching the television on a low volume, rather interested in each other than whatever was on the screen.
Planting a last kiss on her lips, I chuckled at the sight of her blushing cheeks before we were again interrupted by the doorbell. I sight as I parted from her and stood up to smooth out the creases in my clothes and ruffled my hair to make myself presentable.
I could hear (Y/N)'s breathless giggle in my ears as I walked through the hallway and to the front door which I pulled open as I reached it. I felt my breath catch in my throat when I saw the person on the other side.
"Um, please come in," I said quietly and flinched when the person grinned broadly and leaned up, pressing a kiss to my cheek. "Y-you can't do this," I muttered coldly and stepped back before I cleared my throat.
"My wife and I were just cleaning up, please come in," I partially lied and forced a smile to my lips, allowing the newcomer to pass through myself and the door. The woman shrugged carelessly and followed me through to the living room.
"Yeobo, Ms Park is here. Tell her what to do, okay?" I informed my wife when I saw her sitting up on the sofa that she was previously lay out on. (Y/N)'s face tightened, but I knew she was trying to maintain composure as she made her way to us and tiptoed, pressing a kiss to my cheek.
"Araseo, go rest," she smiled and I nodded, kissing her forehead in return. I looked into her eyes for a few moments longer and only when she kissed the tip of my nose did I let her go.
"Goodnight, baby. Come to bed soon, okay?" I demanded softly and smiled when her eyes lit up in happiness. "Neh, oppa," she answered and I kissed the back of her hand before I turned away with a smile on my lips.

After Donghae had left and you heard the soft closing of your bedroom door resonate the house, silence enveloped the living room. You chanced a glance at Park Chaera and froze uncomfortably when you saw that she was looking at you scrutinisingly.
"What does he see in you?" you heard her say and you winced, but decided not to say anything. After clearing your throat, you forced a smile to your lips and raised your eyebrow at her.
"It doesn't matter what my husband sees in me, Ms Park. After all he is my husband, is he not?" you replied coolly, despite the nervousness building up in the pit of your stomach.
"Hah, you're so proud he married you? Pfft, he loved me first and still loves me, you know that too," Chaera answered spontaneously and without hesitation which made a small frown appear on your face.
"Well, you must not have been enough that he didn't marry you, but married me instead," you responded with a sarcastic laugh, but her words made you flinch a little. "Yeah, well, at least I'm not a rebound."
"Whatever relationship my husband and I have, it really shouldn't affect you. I'll admit that he still loves you, but it's not the same anymore. The hole you left in his heart is being completely filled up and he doesn't need you anymore," you answered after a few moments and then gave her a pointed look. You internally preened when you saw the shocked look in her eyes, but then decided to ignore it.
"Well," you began with a dramatic sigh and smiled without emotion, "I don't think he hired you to talk about love lives. Please help me clean the kitchen and then you may stay in the guestroom for the night."
"Yeah, yeah," Chaera muttered for response and you resisted the urge to roll your eyes when she did exactly that and began muttering under her breath.

"Babe? Is that you?" I mumbled under my breath when I felt a shift on the bed and the familiar figure lay down beside me. I smiled when she snuggled against me and I
