Description

“You think tattoo artists are mean and intimidating? Meet my friends, and you’d immediately believe that tattoo artists are the best kind of idiots.”

There’s a saying that you should never mess with someone with tattoos. As soon as you see it on their skin—freeze, turn around, and walk away. Don’t even think of having one, and God forbids, being the one who permanently inks it on someone.

At least that’s what Hye Joo’s parents taught her.

There’s always been this bad rep about people with tattoos, but are they? Are they really what people think they are? Or is it just her parents? Hye Joo doesn’t know for sure, but one thing she knows is that tattoo is what got her brother Chanyeol kicked out of their house—though he’d love to argue that he’s the one who walked out on his own will. Still, whether he walked out on his own accord or got kicked out, Hye Joo misses her only brother.

However, she didn’t expect to be reunited with him like this—sitting down side by side for their parents’ funeral. After her parents’ passing, Chanyeol decided to take her in with him. Though she’s happy that she’s finally with her brother again, hoping for some overdue brother-sister bonding, things didn’t go as smoothly as she hoped it would be.

Besides, how could it when you got eight other hot tattoo artists at arm’s reach?

Talk about a pleasant surprise. How bad could life be? Especially when you find out that beneath those intimidating eyes and ink on their skin, they just might be softer than your average human being.

Then again, nothing’s ever as it seems.

Don't even bother telling me that I have shiz tons of stories to update, I told myself that statement over a thousand times before making this story... So disappointed with myself ;-;

This is a story that I've been keeping for a long time, and although I don't have a lot of time to write, I can't contain it within me any longer ;v; I've been keeping this idea ever since The Lost Planet, thanks to EXO's tattoos and I was just screwed. When I saw even more tattoos on Monster, I knew that I just had to write this story. I intended to post this since January, but then life happened, and so for obvious reasons, I had to delay it even longer.

To all my loyal readers who are coping with my horrible update sequence, I thank you all in advance, bless your souls ༼☯﹏☯༽ I really do appreciate your love, and Idk how to pay it all back, except for updating as soon as I possibly can. I hope you're excited for this story as much as I am!

Chapter 2: Good start to your story. Sad reunion for the siblings but let's see where they take it from here. Love that Kyungsoo gave her a hug. Soft, sweet, squishy <3

Chapter 1: Wow, you really are talented to have made a nine version of prologue. This is really to my liking, maybe because I had the same sentiment, since I was a kid until my early teenage years I was taught that people with tats are bad but when I left my hometown when I was 16 and moved to the city I got enlightened and now that I like seeing tats and knowing their meaning, I really like those small tats on ankle and below the wrist.
I don’t know why but I always have this feeling that it’s Bobohu.
