we've known each other for a month

she's smart

she's beautiful

she's funny

she's talented

she's caring

too bad she seems to hate me

I've tried everything but she doesn't seem to like me

but I'll wont give up
 

I've always wanted to volunteer to the dog shelter i just needed time. I've asked irene and yeri to accompany me this weekend but the two said they have things to do, irene is probably with seulgi doing god knows what and yeri must be doing some family business stuff

I've already thought about asking wendy to go on a date but the girl doesn't seem to take my invites seriously and i definitely know why, ive done stupid things in the past and it surely does kick me in the now. good thing wendy likes animals and seems to care about everyone that she accepted my invite when i told her that its for the dog shelter
 

its 6:45 in the morning and I'm 5 minutes late for our volunteer work, wendy is already at the park where we said we would meet. im still picking out what i should wear good thing my house is just a few blocks from the park

i just settled for a denim jacket with white shirt and pants

i ran towards the park to see wendy in a loose hoodie and a pair of boy shorts while sitting in a bench

i wonder when would i see her in a much girly clothes

i decided to approach by surprise i went to her back and covered her eyes

"who's this?" i asked her

"yah! park sooyoung you're 25 minutes late!"she didn't even have to wonder

i can already forsee her glare

"sorry wannie~" i teased

"i told you do not call me that" she said as she stood up and walked, i followed her

"what do you want me to call you then?"

"anything just not that"

i thinked to my self i couldn't think of anything so i just decided to anyway

"i got it! hubby~?"

"no" it was a fast rejection

"wifey?" i tried again

"no"

"cookie?" im hoping out of nowhere she'd agree to a pet name but i know that will never happen

"no"

"sweetie?" i love teasing her

"have you had breakfast?" that's not the response i was expecting

"not yet actually"

"here, i figured you haven't had breakfast" she gave me a paper bag, i looked inside and there's muffin and a juice box

i looked up and she's blushing, you can keep on rejecting me but i know i have a chance

"thank you sweetie~"

"why do you do this?" she's serious now

"i like you" i know that's straightforward but it's the truth yet ive got a feeling she'll wont fall for it

"yeah like id believe that" i knew it, the bus finally came and we continued our conversation inside

"i dont care if you believe me or not sweetie" it hurts

"you shouldn't play with people's feelings"

"I'm not playing with you" i looked at her hoping she could realize my sincerity

"let's just talk about something else" i wonder how i can show that im serious
 

We're finally at the dog shelter, its a small house filled with cages full of dogs some are friendly some are scared of humans, it makes me feel sad when i saw how traumatized they are

there were a lot of volunteers with us. some guys are looking at my direction but i dont care about them its the girls who's been giggling like high school girls over wendy that i dont like she's cute i know get over it. I want to glare at all the girls who's talking to her but i distracted my self with dogs id rather talk to the dogs than those other volunteers

"how come those girls can flirt with her while i cant?" i asked the dog who's been eating on his bowl
 

the volunteer activity was finally over and wendy could now leave this place before i murder every girl she's talking to

one girl asked for her number and she gladly gave it to her

im hurt

everything hurts

i didn't talk the whole bus ride

she insisted on walking me home since its already dark and according to her it seems that im too tired since i haven't spoken to her the entire ride home

"are you sure you're okay?" she asked i dont want to look at her i might lash out on her

"yes" i dont want to talk about it

i want to crash in my bed

we're finally on our front door, i was about to go inside when i felt her hand on my arm

"seriously are you okay?" she asked again

i just looked at her

should i tell her?

"where did the loud park sooyoung go?" she teased

might as well let it out

"how come they could flirt with you while i cant?" i asked the floor since i dont want to look at her

she was taken aback by the question so i decided to just laugh it off

I'm so silly

i didn't wait for a response, tears blurred my vision. i turned around and grab the door

"goodnight wendy, walk home safe okay"
