Ilhoon was lonely. 

He wouldn't admit it out loud, but he missed having Minhyuk around. They had lived together for years, and they were used to each other's presence. It was no surprise that, after his Hyung's enlistment to the army, their shared dorm felt empty. 

Of course he had his other members. They were together a lot, producing new songs, practicing dance routines, and just hanging around. But at the end of the day it was just him.

Hyunsik had probably noticed, as he had offered to stay a few times the last couple of weeks. They didn't do much together other than play video games, but even when they were both doing their own thing Ilhoon felt grateful that he wasn't alone. 

That day was one of those days when he'd stay the night. They had just had already had dinner, and they were lazyly lying on the big modern sofa owned by the young rapper. 

“Hey, Ilhoon-ah, look at this,” Hyunsik said, looking up from phone.  

“Another meme made by our Melodies?” asked Ilhoon, looking at the other guy while raising an eyebrow.

“No, apparently Hongseok has a crush on a girl on YouTube…” explained Hyunsik. “He's been talking about her for days for a couple of days and he sent me one of her videos now.”

“Pentagon's Hongseok?” asked the rapper in mild surprise. “I didn't know you two were close.”

“We meet at the gym frequently,” Hyunsik shrugged. “But look, the girl's covering your song.”

Ilhoon got closer to his hyung to look at his screen while putting one of the earphones on. The girl was indeed singing one his songs, ‘Always’. She was good. Of course he had seen better singers, but he liked the way she expressed herself through the words and melody. ‘His words and melody’ he thought proudly.

“She's hot, alright,” commented Hyunsik, making the rapper take notice of her appearance. His hyung was certainly right. The girl had her beautiful, dark, wavy hair up in a messy ponytail. She was wearing a bit of mascara on her lashes, making her naturally big eyes stand out more, and her lips were tinted in a reddish-orange shade. 

Ilhoon made a mental note to ask for her channel's name once the song was over, and attentively listened to her clean voice. 

“Not bad,” he said, giving the earphone back to the older guy. “Who is she?” 

“‘Seo Why?’"
