Description
The separation of Military Enlistment is a cruel thing but it could also provided something Jiyong and Seunghyun both seem to need: time and space. The space to decide what they mean to one another and what they want for their future. Fate and emotion can only go so far to help them, however. In the end whatever paths Fate provides, it is only by choices made, or taken, that they can be walked.
Foreword
Warning, this story doesn't necessarily have a happy ending. Or really, any ending. This fic is the literary equivalent of blue-balls. I'm doing this on purpose and thoughtfully. If you want a resolution, you'll probably want to back up and read something else.
Also:
In light of the situation in our fandom I feel it necessary to state that Seungri appears as a minor character in this fic. I do not consider him in any way a reflection of the Seungri that has been revealed to us. He’s an idealized version of Seungri. Someone who is incapable of the things the real Seungri has done.
