"I can't believe I just left her there. I should have talked to her more, I should have asked her something-" Kim Minwoo stopped his ramblings as soon as he saw the sad look in his wife's eyes. "I'm sorry," Minwoo sighed. "I'm being insensitive, am I?" he asked his wife. "I must be a very heartless and cruel man because I keep on reminding you about the past."

Kim Minwoo and Han Sichun were sitting at the back of the car that chauffered them to the places that they are supposed to go to at Busan. This afternoon, the couple attended the ribbon cutting of the newest Daesan Insurance building where they were invited as guests-of-honor. Before going to the event, they went to a restaurant that was suggested by one of their son's closest friend and there they saw a girl who looked like someone who they would rather not remember.

"We talked about this, Minwoo. Everything that happened before, we both paid dearly because of it. We already forgave each other." Sichun gave her husband a sad smile. "If you need to talk to that girl, we'll go back to the restaurant tomorrow."

"We're not even sure if we were talking about the same Jieun. But I feel like I should really talk to that girl, you know. She looks a lot like Jieun, she was born sixteen years ago. What if-"

They heard a loud honk and then the car suddenly stopped.

"What happened?" an alarmed Minwoo asked the driver.

In front of them was a girl. Not just a girl, but the girl from this morning. The one that looked like Kang Jieun. She was a mess. Her hair was everywhere, tears streaming down her face, and she was very pale.

"Help me." The girl said as Minwoo saw her eyes close and she collapsed.

"Oh my god! Minwoo, quick!" Sichun said as she went down the car. "Oh my!" she went to the girl and cradled her head.

Minwoo looked from the direction that the girl came from as he heard footsteps closing in on them. He was visibly surprised when he saw a familiar face.

"Vice Chairman Kim." The man in wearing all black and sunglasses bowed as he approached and greeted him in Mandarin.

"Sun?!" Minwoo was surprised to find the man here, wasn't he supposed to be back in Beijing doing work for the Lus? "What are you doing here? Who sent you? Why are you chasing this girl-"

"Minwoo! That's not important right now!" Sichun said frantically. "We have to get to the hospital!" She looked at the frail girl in her arms.

Minwoo carried the girl to the car and placed her on the back with Sichun. He then positioned himself on the front passenger seat and addressed Sun in Korean. "Sun? Can you try to follow us to the hospital?"

"I will, Vice Chairman. I just need to quickly finish off somethings here." The stoic Sun answered.

Minwoo did not want to know whatever Sun is trying to finish. Most of the time, the other man's jobs is dangerous. He just nodded and looked at the driver. "To the nearest hospital, please. And make it quick!"

"She has severe dehydration and over fatigue. She also has bruises on her arms and legs, and at her side. Her feet are full of blisters, but our dermatologist said that it will heal in time. She has scars that seem to have been from something that happened less than six months ago. It was a good thing that her wounds before healed well because that could have caused a bigger problem. This girl is really strong, though. She should have been in critical condition right now, but miraculously, she is only fatigued. She just really needs a lot of rest and vitamins. We can move her out of the ICU now." The doctor said.

"Thank you so much, Dr. Park." Minwoo exhaled. The doctor bowed and excused herself. Sichun was sitting beside the girl's bed the top of her head. She pitied the girl, she seemed so frail and broken. It almost made Sichun cry.

"Mr. Kim?" A nurse came in holding a clipboard. "Can you please fill this up first before we transfer the patient to another room?"

"I actually only know the patient's name. It's Kang Eunhee," Minwoo explained. "But please transfer her to your best room. I will take care of her expenses so you don't have to worry about that."

"Of course, Sir." The nurse bowed. "We will prepare the young lady's suite."

"Poor girl," Sichun said, she was still the girl's hair and holding her hand. Eunhee is still ghostly pale, her lips are violet and the bruises in her arms are visible. "I wonder what happened. Has Sun arrived?"

Minwoo shook his head. Just then, Secretary Choi, Minwoo's secretary went in the room. "Sir, urgent news from Seoul. The Chairman has boarded a plane thirty minutes ago and is on his way here."

"Is that so? Any reason why abeoji will suddenly fly to Busan?" Minwoo asked.

"No, Vice Chairman. He is not telling anyone his reason for suddenly flying in."

"Very well, we'll just have to wait for him and see."

Kim Minhyuk was welcomed at Gimhae International Airport by a man dressed in all black wearing sunglasses. His bodyguards became suddenly alert at the presence of the suspicious looking man.

"It's alright," the old man told the big, bulky, men surrounding him. "I asked him to come here. Sun!" He greeted.

"Chairman." Sun bowed deeply.

"Do you have what I have asked for?"

"Of course, sir." He said as he handed the Chairman two envelopes. Minhyuk opened the envelopes and his eyebrows raised at the contents. "Well then. Bring me to her."

"There's been a slight complication, Sir." Sun said maintaining his cold tone to mask his fear of the old man's reaction to what he will say.

"And that is?"

"The uncle tried to sell the girl to a small time gang. She was able to escape, but she collapsed due to fatigue. It is fortunate that it was Vice Chairman and Madame Han who found the girl in the streets."

"And this happened under your watch, Sun?" the old man said calmly.

"I'm sorry, Chairman. I should have watched the girl properly. I have already taken care of the uncle and the thugs, though," Sun said with a full bow, his head on the ground.

"My, my, Sun. You are slipping." The Chairman shook his head. "It's alright though, you just have to take me to the hospital where she is staying. Oh! And Sun?"

"Yes, Chairman?"

"Next time, address her properly." Minhyuk said sharply. "It's 'Young Miss'."

Minwoo and Sichun have been in the hospital for close to six hours now. Eunhee was still asleep, and the color is slowly coming back to her face. She was still connected to an IV and is constantly being monitored by nurses. They were already transferred to a private suite, so Sichun was able to sleep on the sofa bed. However, Minwoo is still awake. The more that he looks at the girl, the more that he realizes that she looks like Jieun. He was still thinking deeply when the hospital doors bursted open. In came an old man wearing a refined suit and surrounded by his bodyguards, behind him is the mysterious Sun.

"Abeoji." Minwoo greeted the old man.

"Son."

At that moment, Sichun woke up and squeaked. "Abeoji." She said with a bow.

"Sichun, it's great to see you, dear." He started to speak Chinese so that the his daughter-in-law would better understand them.

"Abeoji, what are you doing here? Were you the one who asked Sun to be here?"

"Son, firstly, I would like to apologize. I have made a huge mistake." Chairman Kim exhaled then proceeded to sit on one of the couches. "You may want to sit down for this." Once Minwoo was seated down, he continued. "Seventeen years ago, a young woman came knocking at our house in Ulsan and was looking for you. Her name was Kang Jieun and she was claiming to be pregnant with your child. Of course, at that time, your family was already on your way to Shanghai to start a new life. Of course I didn't believe her, but you know what rumors can do, so I tried to shut her up. Fearing for what it will do to your marriage and to my grandson, I tried to pay the girl off. She was stubborn at first, but when she felt that the bills are too much, she eventually agreed. A few years passed, and I didn't think much about Kang Jieun. But then one day, I received a letter from a man named Kang Seungho, he was trying to blackmail you into giving him money. He said in his letter that he has your daughter and that you have to send him money or he will expose her and your supposed affair with his sister. At that time, Kang Jieun was already gone. She had been hit by a drunk truck driver on her way from work. I soon found out that Kang Seungho was sentenced to prison and that your supposed daughter is not with him. It took me almost ten years to track him down. I sent Sun early this year to search for him and I finally found him here in Busan. I wasn't able to find him earlier because he was serving his 10-year sentence. Sun said that he is living with an old woman and a young girl. I had a hunch on who the young girl is, especially because her age matches the year that
