Enjoy the second update for the day! :)

Two months. It's been two months since Eunhee's seventeenth birthday. It's been two months since Eunhee left Seoul.

She is Kang Eunhee now, a second year high school student at Haeundae High School in Busan. Eunhee and her halmeoni took the first bus out of Seoul the morning of her seventeenth birthday. Halmeoni was furious at Mr. and Mrs. Kim, they promised to take care of Eunhee, but they discarded and hurt her not even a week after she left. She would rather raise her granddaughter by herself, than wonder everyday if they are treating her right. She doesn't need to worry about Miyeon. Miyeon is their real daughter. They would never kick their real daughter out.

Halmeoni told Eunhee about her uncle. Uncle Seungho was being released from Seobu Penitentiary that day. He was convicted for seven years because of gambling and stealing, and another three years for illegal drug use. According to Halmeoni, they left Ulsan seventeen years ago when they found out that her Eunhee's mother was pregnant, Uncle Seungho remained but was influenced by some bad company, and turned into a gang member. She still believes that her son can change, though. Halmeoni blamed herself for leaving Uncle Seungho in Ulsan, and she really wanted him to redeem himself.

At first, her uncle was nice. After he was released, they ate in a nice traditional restaurant for her birthday, and he even got her a small birthday cake. He then suggested that they should move to Busan, claiming that there were too many bad memories in Ulsan.  Both for him, and his noona (Eunhee's biological mother). He said that it would be difficult to move on and start a new life if the shadows of the past is still hanging over him.

Of course, halmeoni agreed.

Which is how they found themselves in Haeundae, Busan almost 400 kilometers away from Hannam, Seoul.

"Yah, princess!" Uncle Seungho said kicking her seat. "Do you have a spare 10,000? I need to buy something." He slurred. Uncle Seungho has been a useless drunkard ever since they moved to Busan. All he does is laze around the house and ask grandmother and her for money.

"I don't, uncle. You already got my last 10,000 this morning." Eunhee rolled her eyes. She can only do that because her uncle is tipsy, if he is on his proper mind, he would have slapped her and called her a disrespectful bastard. She knows because he has already done it.

"So? Don't you have more?" He said walking near the girl. Eunhee almost retched at how he smells. It was kind of a mixture of the smell of rotten socks, alcohol, and smoke. She would bet her salary for the day that he hasn't showered for a week.

"I don't have anything, uncle. I won't work until tomorrow, I asked Auntie Hyo for a day off today because of school work." She explained.

"What? Why? How am I going to buy Jinro?"

Eunhee sighed. Soju again. By the way that he drinks soju, you'd have thought that soju runs in his veins instead of actual blood. "Uncle, you'd just have to wait tomorrow. You should sleep, anyway, you look like you are about to pass out again."

"Useless ," he spat and laid on the sofa. A few minutes later, he was snoring. Eunhee looked at her uncle. She contemplated if she should shave his head as revenge.

Nah, he'll look uglier. I'm going to do the world a favor and not let them see him without his hair. She thought.

Eunhee laughed then she wondered if her mother ever thought about uncle that way. She remembered one night, as her and grandmother were getting ready for bed, she suddenly had the urge to talk about her mother.

"Halmeoni, what was eomoni like?"

Halmeoni gave her a small smile. "She was hardworking, energetic, and ambitious. When we were living in Ulsan, she would always stare at the stars and tell me that someday she would go where they are. She wanted to be one of them 'ostronots'." Misook chuckled as she remembered what Jieun used to tell her. "She told me that someday she would discover a star and name it after me. She was also very pretty, just like you. You look a lot like her, actually. The lips, the nose, and the eyes. Especially your eyes. She used to be the envy of the kids in Ulsan because she had double eyelids. Your cheeks, though, I don't think you got those puffy cheeks from her." She laughed as she pinched Eunhee's cheeks.

"Halmeoni!" Eunhee pouted.

That was the only thing she knew about her mother.

The front door opened as halmeoni went in carrying groceries.

"Here let me help you," Eunhee said as she took the bags from her grandmother. Misook smiled. A month before, Eunhee would have let her carry them by herself. Her little Eunhee is really changing and learning a lot. She wondered how Miyeon is. Is she being taken cared of by the Kims? Would she have changed during these past two months?

"Thank you, Eunhee-yah. Your uncle is already asleep?"

"Yeah," Eunhee nodded. "I'll help you make the stew, halmeoni."

"Alright," Misook nodded. She should stop thinking about Miyeon. She is sure that Miyeon is doing alright. Her family is rich anyway, and she is attending a good school. She should only think about Eunhee and Seungho now.

"Attention!" Im Jaebum, their class president shouted.

The students of class 2-E of Haeundae High School stood up and bowed. "Goodbye, Mr. Dong." Once their teacher was out of the room, the students then started to pack their things. Eunhee is one of the first ones to be out of the classroom. She still has to help out at Auntie Hyo's restaurant.

Eunhee could say that school is not that bad. There was a lot more cliques in Seoul than here in Haeundae, most of the time, the other students would leave you alone if you don't bother them. She is also doing good in class. Because she is a transfer student, she was placed in the last section. The lessons that were taught to them in Shinhwa were actually advanced, so she did not have a hard time catching up here. She already knew some of the concepts that their teachers were discussing. Added to that, the students in this section seem to not actually care about grades that much. She would probably be transferred to the first section by next year, and she could even possibly graduate as class valedictorian.

"Eunhee! Eunhee!" she heard someone call her from a distance. She tried to quicken her pace, unfortunately, the boy caught up to her.

"Woah, Eunhee! I thought you were running at a marathon!" Seungyoon beamed at her. Kang Seungyoon is one of her classmates. The boy has a huge crush on Eunhee and he would always ask her out on a date.

Eunhee chuckled internally. None of the boys in Shinhwa even dared to ask her out on a date because they were afraid of her. She has gotten soft.

Or maybe, they weren't asking because
