"Appa, you want me and Jinwoo oppa to meet again?" you wondered unsurely, palms curling into fists on your thigh. When your father returned from the trip and acted weird for a whole two weeks, you were absolutely not expecting that would be the reason for his behaviour.

"Yes, his parents also miss you a lot. You were practically their youngest for six years, they miss you a lot," your father answered and you sighed, noticing that he was using his guilty card. There was no point arguing it.

"Okay, I'll agree to meet with them since I know you won't be changing your mind anytime soon," you agreed reluctantly with another sigh and he smiled proudly at your answer. "Remember, they raised you, so I expect you treat them nothing less than your parents, hm?"

"Neh, appa," you answered, already used to his lecturing. Even if it was a trip to the butcher, you father made sure that you addressed him properly and with respect without looking down at his job.

Your father tried not to show it, but he really hated money, so he didn't give you the right to have his. If you needed it for living expenses, you could ask him, but aside from that you had to make money yourself and had been doing so for four years.

"Jinwoo still remembers you calling him 'Jin oppa' by the way, he mentioned it to us on the wedding day. He said he was hoping you'd come. We took down his phone number to give to you," he added and you frowned at the sudden revelation, but didn't bother questioning his behaviour. After all, his parents did raise you during your childhood.

"Okay," you mumbled softly and he gave you the number before instructing you to leave. Since it was a Sunday night, all the kids were asleep and their mothers were finishing off with their laundry and ironing.

You slipped into your room, completely unnoticed, and lay in bed, looking between your phone and the parchment.

Deciding that there was nothing that you could lose, you saved his number and texted him.
