As the weeks seemingly went by faster, you found it very difficult to talk to Donghae due to your exams, and that had lead you to stop talking to him altogether. You had previously informed him about the arrangement and even though he said he was upset, he didn't mind it.

You didn't know what to think of that.

It was the end of June and you were sitting in the university's library, flicking through books when two things happened. One, your phone buzzed on the table and second, Park Hyeri decided to make an appearance with her friends.

You sighed when you noticed them come closer to you and decided not to look at them, instead opting to return to your books. They seemed annoyed by your antics and before you could even stop them, one of them had grabbed your phone.

"Give it back," you stated calmly, lifting your head to glare at Kim Jiah, but Lee Bongsoon was the one to respond. She squinted at you tauntingly and poked you in the forehead harshly, "keep your eyes down, you begging freak."

You snorted under your breath at the irony and rolled your eyes, which she missed. You wanted to slap her and do it again, but for the sake of them leaving you alone, you just stayed quiet.

"Oh, you're still talking to that Donghae boy?" Park Hyeri mocked with her nose held high in mild disgust and you raised your eyes before grunting under your breath. You choosing to ignore her words made her slightly red in the face and she snatched the device from Kim Jiah's hands.

After a couple of intense moments of silence, you staring at Park Hyeri and the other two staring at you, the culprit smirked and threw your phone on the table. You raised a questioning eyebrow, wincing when you felt a harsh tug on your hair before all three of them turned and left.

You rolled your eyes at their backs while checking your phone to see any scratches or cracks and when you found none, you sighed and switched it on. Wondering exactly what she had done, you swiped to the opened apps and your jaw dropped in disbelief.
