The month quickly passed after that and you hadn't even brought up the topic about the trip to Malaysia in front of your family. Sure your brothers wouldn't disagree with it, but you didn't exactly want to go alone. So, unfortunately for you, you were having troubles trying to mention it.

Your relationship with Donghae had changed a little since Donghae made sure to tell you every morning what his schedule was. It took a lot of getting used to, but you returned the favour since he just so insisted on knowing when you would meet up with Jaejin, Jinwoo or Hyeongsuk.

Jaejin was someone you saw on all weekdays because of your shared job, Jinwoo someone you saw on the weekends, but as of recently, you had started to see Hyeongsuk every single day. It didn't help that the latter was your next door neighbour and oh so typically your bedroom windows were opposite each other.

It was around 06:00 AM in the morning and you were lonely as you walked to the train station. Sure Hyeongsuk was hot on your heels, but you missed Donghae. The last you had talked to him was over twenty fours ago and even that, all he had said was that he would be going overseas for a project. You missed his morning, late night and completely random texts maybe more than you should.

He had previously informed you that he wouldn't be able to message you until about a week later, but only ten minutes into the train ride and you could hear your phone eagerly vibrating against your thigh. Either someone genuinely wanted to talk to you, or Donghae was back.

Thank goodness it was the latter.

As he disappeared again, your thoughts repeated the conversation that you just had with Donghae. You really wanted to know the purpose of his words or the aim of them, because suddenly you wanted to do nothing except read the news. The only thing stopping you was the anticipation of the conversation you were about to have with Donghae.

You had to, thankfully, wait only two minutes before the familiar 'unknown' contact made an appearance on your phone notifications. You smiled at his childish message and replied to him quickly.
