It had been a difficult day for Jungkook. He was on his way home after a long day of classes. As he passed by some garbage, he noticed a pot with a veary dreary plant in it. Jungkook couldn't help but think the plant reminded him of himself.

The plant was obviously a rose bush. And to jungkook that meant almost nothing.

He was going to just leave the plant. He really was, but something turned him around and caused him to pick up the plant. And thus Jungkook to it home. 

Upon arriving home, Jungkook placed the plant in front of the window. He checked the soil only to find it as dry as a desert. He quickly went to his kitchen and got a glass full of water and watered the plant.

As the days passed, Jungkook took care of the rose bush. And with each day, the rose bush got more and more lively. As did Jungkook. After two week of taking care of the plant,  Jungkook was so happy to see it practically ready to bloom. 

After Jungkook went to sleep one night some nights after the two week mark, something so special happened with the plant. This spacific rose bush had been in charge of a seed so small and insignificant. A seed that almost never got the chance to break open due to the neglect the bush had received at first. 

But this seed wasn't as insignificant as it looked and seemed. This seed held such a precious thing to the world. And thanks to Jungkook's care the seed was now starting to hatch open. Small pop-like sounds occurred from the plant, but none loud enough to wake the sleeping Jungkook.

The next morning Jungkook awoke and went to the kitchen as he usually did in the mornings, unaware of anything having happened during his sleep. There had been no traces of any such miracle ocurring. Therefore, he had no reason to suspect anything.

From the plant something small watched Jungkook curiously. And though it held curiosity, it stayed well hidden. It watched as Jungkook prepared and ate his breakfast, which only caused it to remember its own hunger. 

After eating, Jungkook walked over to the plant and sat next to it. Eyes roaming over the newly budding flowers and the now bright green leaves. Jungkook hadn't ever really been a person for plants, but he quite enjoyed taking care of this one.

As he reached out to touch the leaves, he caught sight of something white looking in the base of the branches of the bush. His curiosity getting the best of him; he leaned down close to the bush peaking around branches hopeing to catch a better glimpse of the white looking object.

Though when looking, he did not expect what he found. 

What he thought to have been a white object was actually a very handsome and tiny male. Jungkook gasped at the sight. The tiny male hid behind a rose bush branch and mearly peeked around to glance at the ginormous(at least to the tiny male) being staring down at him with wide eyes. 

Neither moved for several long moments. One too scared to move, and the other too shocked. After a span of twenty minutes passed, Jungkook came to his senses(a small amount anyway). He sat up and moved a little closer to the plant. He wasnt sure what he was going to do but he had to try something. 

"Hey." Jungkooks voice was so soft. Hoping not to scare the small being, Jungkook continued. "Can you understand me?" The small male poked his head aroung the bush and nodded for Jungkook to see before hiding again. "Wait!" Jungkook's voice got louder, but he quickly brought it back down. "I- You- You don't have to be afraid of me. I won't hurt you."

The small male poked his head out agian and examined Jungkook. Jungkook smiled and spoke again. "My name is Jungkook. Do you have a name?"  The tiny male nodded again. "Can you tell me?"

The tiny male hesitated, but did indeed open his mouth and spoke. Jungkook frowned. "I can't hear you." The tiny man frowned and hid behind the bush stems again.

Jungkook pouted and sighed. He didnt understand why it was so disheartening for this small being to not be able to communicate with him. He closed his eyes for a few moments.

Whilebhis eyes were closed, the small male had taken the opportunity to spread his wings and land on Jungkook's shoulders. When jungkook opened his eyes agian. He looked to the rose bush, hoping to see the small male peeking out at him.

"My name is Jimin." The voice startled Jungkook, making hin jerk around, and causeing Jimin to fall of of his shoulder.

Jimin shook his head as his wings held him afloat in the air. Jungkook was stairing wide eyed and mouth agape at Jimin and his wings. He couldn't help but realize just how beautiful Jimin was and how his wings glittered in the light. 

Jimin floated for a moment befor landing softly on Jungkook's knee. "Did you hear me that time?" Jungkook could only nod, still shocked by the voice and look of this male being. The first time Jungkook had been too surprised to register the soft delecacy of the voice speaking, but this time it seemed to sooth him. Calm him. 

Jungkook carefully sat up, hoping not to jostle Jimin too much. "I- What are you?" Jimin tilted his head.

"I'm a fairy... I thought that much would be obvious." a mischievous grin formed on Jimin face and Jungkook smiled and shook his head. 

"Okay. Yeah. I probably should have known." And the conversation went on from there. Each trying to better understand the other.

Months passed as Jungkook and Jimin took care of the rose bush together keeping it as healthy as possible. Jimin had informed Jungkook of fairies from time to time. Just enough to help Jungkook understand how important a fairy's plant was to keep them stable health wise. 

And with such information, Jungkook nurtured the palnt even more than he had to start off with. The winters always made Jungkook nervous cause Jimin always was sickly during the time of the plants own version of hibernation. But as long as the plant rebloomed Jimin would stay. And Jungkook planned to make that last as long as possible.
