Thousands of years ago, in a kingdom, there lived a large group of wizards. They do not just mingle with ordinary people, they choose to settle on the banks of the river near the forest. This wizard race is divided into four major groups; the first was Terra, who was master of spells and curses. This race is led by Master Cha; the second is Cazza, experts who are very knowledgeable about plants, drugs and poisons. This race is led by Master Kim; the third is the Daejin, which understands magic creatures and how to deal with them. This race is led by Master Lee; and the last is the Tazza, the smartest among all. They are shapeshifter, which can transform into animals, other humans, even inanimate objects. This race is led by two people, Master Han and Master Jung.

Over the years, the four races of wizards have lived in peace. They are very close to ordinary human races, their magic abilities become a tool to help humans lighten their wwork. Terra helps protect human areas with their magic spells; the Cazza provides assistance in the form of medicines for humans; Daejin helps by controlling and capturing magical creatures that threaten human life. Only the Tazza id not provide much assistance, although occasionally they helped guard on the border, preventing the enemy from entering the kingdom's territory.

Humans and wizards live in peace, until the day the new king ascended the throne.

The King felt frightened by the ability of a very great wizard, he felt defeated by them. The King felt, they gradually began to dominate ordinary human life, he felt angry seeing humans rely heavily on them, even more on their side than the royal government. This made the King afraid, they would drop him from the throne, rule the kingdom with their magic abilities. The King's fear is getting stronger when his advisors make the story that the help given to the wizard race for humans is only a fake to overthrow him from the throne.

So, the days of hell began for the wizard race.

The king ordered his troops to arrest wizar ds  and execute them. Their peaceful atmosphere was over, the race of wizards did not think they would be arrested just because they could do magic. Many of them are killed for no reason. Wizards fight with their magic abilities, this is used as a powerful weapon for the King to incite humans. The King incited humans, saying that the wizards they considered good and helpful had attacked the palace. The large number of warriors who were wounded against the witch race made people believe, changing their view that wizards are monsters. The human race turned against them, helping the royal forces by telling them their hiding place. Over the years, many wizard races have diminished due to this massacre. The human race catches many witch children, killing witch women who are pregnant on the grounds that children are left to their lives will dominate human life.

The five masters are very worried about this situation. Many wizards, especially women and children, are victims of this incident. The five masters decided to leave their village on the banks of the river, securing the race of wizard in the middle of a forest that could not be reached by humans. All their help is considered a hoax and a reason for mastering humans. The five masters built a new settlement, with a large castle to protect the witch's children from slaughter. For a while, their hiding was safe from the royal forces. But that doesn't necessarily eliminate fear in the minds of them. They are afraid, even to just step outside the house. Seeing this, the five masters felt that the King must be stopped. As the oldest master, Master Cha and Master Lee left for the palace to discuss with the King, persuading the King to stop his actions.

Their visit did not bring good results.

Master Cha and Master Lee were imprisoned by the King, their magic was sealed by the psychic of the palace's beliefs. This shocked the witch race, they decided to rebel in order to save Master Cha and Master Lee. The words of Master Kim and Master Han were totally ignored by them, all that was thought of by the witch race was to save Master Cha and Master Lee.

But apparently, the King released the two masters without the slightest wound.

The freedom of the two masters did not mean stopping the massacre carried out by the kingdom. They began to enter the forest, combing all sides looking for new witch hideouts. Wizards were back in fear, they were very afraid the royal forces will take their children. Master Kim felt someone leaked their hiding place to humans, but Master Kim did not know who leaked it.

Day after day, the fear were growing up in their heart. Even though the royal forces still have not found them, worries still continue to embrace them, blowing fear and anxiety that did not diminish in the least. Meanwhile, Master Kim and Master Han are still trying to find out who has betrayed them. These two masters did not involve Master Cha and Master Lee, considering they had just been released from the palace cage which clearly tortured them.

Their search led to the fact that Master Jung was the Traitor.

Master Kim had no idea, the famous Master Jung with his loyalty turned around in favor of humans and sacrificed witch races. Master Cha and Master Lee were surprised by this situation, as did thethe ot. They were very angry, but they did not dare to fight Master Jung for fear that he would bring all the magicians before the King. All masters tried to persuade Master Jung to return to side with the witch, but Master Jung did not give the answer they expected. Even Master Jung did not heed the persuasion of Master Cha, his closest friend.

Master Cha, by swallowing disappointment over the betrayal, Master Cha decided to let Master Jung leave the witch's territory. However, Master Cha immediately moved the witch farther into the forest before Master Jung and the royal forces find them. This time, Master Cha protected their new territory with very strong magic, disguising the existence of the region so that humans would not be able to find it even though they stood before the gates of the region.

Then Master Cha changed the function of the castle to become a school for the children. He realized, these children had not received any education at all since the massacre took place. Master Cha founded a magic school called Dowonkyung for witch children, gave them knowledge of magic and taught them to be able to use their magic abilities correctly. The school is divided into four large dormitories, namely Terra, Cazza, Daejin, and Tazza; according to the name of their race. Children who enter Terra's dormitory will be taught spell control questions; Cazza's students will learn to make potions and medicines; Daejin's group focuses on studying the handling of magic creatures; while Tazza will teach about perfect form change.

"Why did you let him go?" Master Lee asked Master Cha one night.

"Because I have no reason to keep him here," said Master Cha.

"You don't curse him? Kill him? "Asked Master Lee again.

"I'm not that bad, Master Lee."

"But he made a mistake."

"If I kill him, he will die as a traitor."

"He is indeed a traitor."

"But if I kill him right away, he won't know if he made a mistake."

Master Lee fell silent, his eyes straight looking at Master Cha who was staring silently at the night sky. "Is it because he's your best friend, so you can't kill him?" Asked Master Lee. Master Cha just smiled, he then looked at Master Lee and replied, "Don't you consider him a friend, Master Lee?"

"After what he did, I ..."

"Can you forget our friendship all this time?"

Master Lee looked back at Master Cha. "We have known him since he was a child, Master Lee," said Master Cha, "I still don't believe he betrayed us, and I'm angry. But I can't just hate him, considering he is still my best friend. You know, I feel that forgetting my friendship with him is far more difficult than anything in this world. "

The two fell silent again, permeating the silence. Master Lee realized something, he looked back at Master Cha who was still staring at the sky. "I saw you meet Master Jung before he left us," said Master Lee, "did you talk  about something?"

Master Cha did not answer, he smiled a little and left the confused Master Lee. Master Lee looked at Master Cha who was farther away, he sighed and finally walked to follow his friend. He knew, Master Cha must have said something before Master Jung left. Something that might be the reason why he didn't kill Master Jung right away, and let him go.

But that reason will be a secret.

Forever.
