Bad Grammar

I'm not talking about typos here. It's more misplaced words and misused punctuation, like commas used as periods and lack of periods. 

Lowercase Story Titles

This is a big one for me, because it's not good grammar to have an uncapitalized title. It will definitely take points off of your score. 

Typos

Having typos will drop your score, for the obvious reason, so please go over your work and fix anything that needs it.

Too Much Description

If you spend an entire page to describe a tree, when the tree has no significance to the story, it becomes dead and I lose my concentration and forget what the main point was. For instance, you have probably already forgotten that I even mentioned a tree lol=). 

Too Little Description

Similar to using too much description, too little can have the same effect. I'll lose the main focus, because you didn't mention ENOUGH about the tree, when I needed to know more than that it had leaves. So, with something important, please give me enough info. 

Too Much Focus on a Minor Character

If the focus switches to a minor character, leaving the main character in the dust, you will lose points. The main characters are there for a reason, so please make sure they are the star.
