Sehun

"You sure you're ready to do this?" Kai asks in a whisper.

Sehun nods his head enthusiastically. "Y-yeah, I'm ready!"

Kai glances at the cashier and squeezes Sehun’s shoulder. "Alright, I'll distract her. Just do as we practiced."

After nodding, he watches Kai enter the shop and casually walk up to the woman. He leans against the counter and flashes a charming smile before beginning to talk to her. After a minute or two, Sehun walks in as well, making his way to the back of the store. He goes to an uncrowded area and glances around for cameras; just as Kai told him to do. When not spotting any, he goes up to a rack of earrings and finds some he likes. He looks over at Kai. He catches Kai’s eyes, scoffing when the punk wink at him. He shakes his head when he turns back and continues to flirt with her. She giggles as he slowly runs his fingertips along the back of her hand. Sehun rolls his eyes. What a charmer.

Sehun his lip nervously before slowly peeling off the security tape off the back. He slides them between his pants. Once he’s done, he walks over to Kai and smiles shyly. “They don’t have my size,” he lies.

Kai clicks his tongue and shakes his head. “Damn.”

"Oh, I can check in the back, if you want,” The cashier offers.

"Would you, sweetheart? That'd be great." Kai grins.

"Are you a small?" When Sehun nods, she turns away and heads to the back. He notices Kai nonchalantly snatch a keychain and expertly hide it in his sleeve.

"I can't believe you talked me into this," Sehun groans and Kai smirks. The man is way too charming.

"I'm sorry, we only carry a medium or a large."

"Oh, that's alright," Kai says. "Thanks anyway." He winks. "Call me, alright?" The cashier smiles widely and nods, sliding piece of paper into her pocket. Kai stands up straight and walks off,  Sehun in tow.

"You gave her your number?" Sehun asks, once outside the shop.

Kai huffs and catches the snatched item when it falls from his sleeve. "Nope, fake." Once they walk a bit from the store, Kai stops him and turns.  "Alright, what'd you get?"

Sehun pulls the stolen items from his pants and shrugs. "Earrings."

"Earrings?" Kai's nose crinkles. "Just earrings?"

Sehun glares at him. "I just wanted to go small- I didn't want to do this in the first place, Jongin!”

"Are your ears even pierced?" Kai asks and Sehun shakes his head.

"No, I just wanted something simple…”

"And what're you gonna do with them?" Sehun shrugs again and Kai sighs. "Maybe we could pierce your ears?"

Sehun frowns. "Now you're just trying to get me killed."

"Nah, your mom won't kill you," Kai laughs as he takes the earrings from him. He squints at them before shrugging. "They're kind of cool, I guess- not my style."

"No, they're my style," Sehun snatches them back. “That's why I chose them.”

"but your ears aren't even pierced"

Sehun looks down and fiddles with them bashfully. "I...I didn't think about that at the time."

Kai chuckles. "ing ." He grabs Sehun and pulls him over to the salon nearby, sitting on a bench in front of it. They came here to visit Kai’s friend when he got the brilliant idea to try and corrupt Sehun’s criminal record.  "Lucky for you, Taemin's almost off."

"Why does that make me lucky?"

"He can pierce your ears for free."

"What If I don't want to pierce my ears?"

Kai smirks. "You can go on and return those earrings then, tell her you stole em."

Sehun lets out a heavy sigh as he slams the stolen item into the punk’s extended hand. "You're an .”

"We can study at my place," Kai says, watching as Taemin cleans Sehun's earlobes. He assumes it’s peroxide but he’s unsure."My dad's always home, but he doesn't bother me much."

"Oh yeah, that's a good idea," Taemin says sarcastically.

"What? Why not?" Kai asks.

"Uhm, Sehun's mom, remember?"

"She never comes over,” He scoffs. “Like dad would ever let her stay at a ty hole."

Taemin takes a marker and makes small marks on each of Sehun's ears. He erases the marks a few times until the placement is correct. "Are you nervous? Don't be- I did this for Kai and vise versa," Taemin says. Kai sets down a bowl of ice and what smells like rubbing alcohol.

"Did you give yourself a tattoo?"

Taemin places a couple of differently sized needles in front of Sehun. "No, I went professional for that- Kai was there too."

"Do you have any tattoos, Jongin?" He asks. Taemin clips his hair away from Sehun’s ears as he chooses the size he wants.

Kai shakes his head. "No, I'm too young."

"Tao had tattoos when he was like sixteen," Sehun comments. "I think he might have done them himself, though." Taemin holds up a piece of ice to the back of Sehun's earlobe, taking turns for each one.

Kai takes a seat nearby as he watches the two. “How many did he have?”

“Not counting his sleeve…” Sehun hums as he tries to think. “Nineteen,” He replies before glancing at Kai through the mirror and raising a brow. It's his turn to smirk. “Not all of them were uh...visible without his clothes."

Kai widens his eyes in surprise. “Uh, excuse me?”

“This’ll numb your ear,” Taemin hums when Sehun looks at him nervously. “This is so it won’t hurt.”

"It won't hurt, really?" Sehun asks doubtfully.

"Oh, don't be a baby," Kai huffs.

"You'll feel it but it won't hurt."

Sehun closes his eyes tight when Taemin sets the piece of ice back down in the bowl and picks up a needle. He feels the sharp tip touch the front of his earlobe. "Ready?"

Sehun grabs onto the chair tightly and inhales deeply. He nods, not opening his eyes. “O-okay!” He lets out a soft gasp when he hears a popping noise when the needle goes all the way through. Taemin waits a moment before slowly pulling it out and quickly replacing it with something else. Sehun waits for him to pierce his other ear before opening his eyes to take a look. He turns his head and stares at the small, silver hoops that he had stolen, in his ears. He gently touches one of them grimacing at the soreness

"Cool!" Taemin smiles, leaning over to look at him through the mirror. "You looks super cute with your ears pierced, Sehun.”

Kai stands up now as well and goes to the other side of Sehun. He leans down and raises a brow. “Yeah, you look cool.”

Sehun grimaces again and groans. “My mom is going to kill me.”

Taemin clicks his tongue and shakes his head as he grabs a comb. He begins to brush through Sehun’s hair for him, starting to style it. Sehun didn’t ask him to but he figured the stylist wanted to make him look a little better.  "That tight little leash has got to be cut loose,” He hums.

"Tell me about it," Kai snorts before catching Sehun’s eye. He glares up at the punk and points a finger at him.

"You owe me extra study session time."
