Kai: Troublemaker

Deliquent

                                      Kai

Kai fiddles his thumbs as he sits in the back of a police cruiser. Then the car stops, the door is forced open and he’s pulled out. He yanks his arm back and huffs, "Get off- I know how to walk!” The police officer doesn't say a word as he pushes him up the steps, and to the front door. He rings the doorbell before removing the boy’s handcuffs.

When a middle-aged man opens the door, the officer asks, "Mr. Kim?"

Kai looks at his feet instead of his father—who towers over him in the doorway—and continues to rub his sore wrists.

"Yes," the man answers slowly, confused.

"We found your son spray-painting graffiti on the police station with his friends," the officer says. He holds up a bag of paint cans. "We also found a pack of cigarettes in his pocket."

Kai feels his father's eyes burning into him as if expecting him to answer.

"Jongin?" All does is Kai cross his arms. He doesn't say anything; he had nothing to say. No feeling of remorse or guilt because what was there to be guilty off? It was funny. It’s not his fault cops don’t have a good sense of humor. "Jongin, what did you graffiti?"

The cop lets out a sigh. "He drew a pig under the words “Oink oink,"

Kai snickers at that. Classic!

"Do you think that's funny, son?"

Kai shrugs his shoulders and finally looks up. "It's pretty funny."

His father scowls and grabs onto his arm, pulling him to the door. "I'm sorry, officer. I'll make sure he gets the punishment he deserves."

"He'll give us the name of his friends who helped him."

"No," Kai shakes his head.

"No?"

Kai shrugs.

"Fine, then I'll see you at six in the morning, cleaning that filth off the side of my building."

That quickly took the grin off the punk's face. He looks to his father, who just nods. "What? No!"

"Then tell us who you were with."

Kai scoffs. this and them. It's their fault for leaving me. I don't give two s about them anyway. "Fine," he agrees indignantly. He pulls out his phone and goes through his contacts. All except one. "This is ing bull."

"What's bull is that my son is out at nine at night, spraying graffiti on government property!"

Kai looks disgusted as he goes inside to write down a couple of names and addresses. He returns to the door and smacks it into the officer's hand. "Here- piggy."

Kai's father pushes him out of the doorway and sighs. "Officer, I am so sorry, please forgive him."

The officer points at Kai. "You get that boy under control, Mr. Kim- this is the fifth time this month."

"I understand, sir."

"Next time, we'll be forced to make an arrest- now I don't want to do that. You're a good man."

Kai’s father bows his head in respect. "Thank you!"

I need a smoke. Kai grumbles as he searches his pockets. He groans when he remembers the officer took them, as well as his zippo.

"That pig owes me a-"

"This is the LAST straw, Jongin!" His father interrupts, turning from the door. His face is red and flush with anger. "This is the last time you embarrass me! No more, Jongin, no more!"

"What're you talking about, old man?"

Kai's father stomps over to the wall and flips a couple of pages of the calendar over. With a bright red pen, he circles the last day of the senior school year.

"Tomorrow, it's the first day of your junior year." He looks over and points. "You have until the end of your senior year to get your damn act together- go to school, get your grades up; make decent friends. If you fail to do that..." He sighs. "I'm sending you to a juvenile facility."

Kai widens his eyes. "Dad!"

"No, Jongin- this is the last time you make a fool of me!" He lets go of the pages and sets the pen down. He heads into the kitchen to grab a beer, still lecturing over his shoulder. "No more stealing, graffiti, starting fires- you'll stay away from those friends of yours and make new, respectful ones."

"What's your definition of respectful, old man?!"

"Do you want technical?!" His father shouts, slamming the fridge door, but it doesn't faze Kai. "Anyone but those bloody delinquents you hang out with!"

Kai throws up his arms. "But they’re my friends!"

His father points a finger at him. "I don't care- you're going to make friends your own age, and good kids. Get good grades and make good friends, or I'm hauling your to jail."

“You want me to just DROP Taemin?”

“If he’s apart of that damn group of yours, yes- even him.”

Kai stares at him in disbelief, wanting to argue more but no noise came out. There’s no way in hell that he’s just going to drop his best friend. “That’s ing bull! I am NOT dropping Taemin!” He watches his father sit down on the couch and resumes his show; he ignores Kai now. His phone rings and it almost seems as if he were going to ignore it, but the caller ID quickly changed his tone.

"Baby, hello!"

Oh good, it's the , Kai thinks, rolling his eyes as he walks to the fridge and slips a beer under his shirt. When he takes a look at the calendar, he feels sick. Absolutely, ing sick.

Kai sits on his bed and pulls the beer out. He uses an extra lighter from his drawer to pop the lid off, taking a swig as he answers his ringing phone.

"Haha! You got busted!" Taemin taunts.

"And you hid like a ." Kai retorts.

"Why run when I can see your get caught?”

"Whatever- it was funny anyway."

"Yeah, classic!"

"That's what I said," Kai chuckles, then shakes his head. Taemin had been there when Kai got caught but he just watched from his dark spot in the alley, laughing his off. There's a short silence as he drinks.

"I saw Krystal today."

Kai shallows hard. "I don't care."

"Don't you?" Taemin sounded doubtful. "She asked about you."

"Whatever- her." Kai grabs a cigarette from his secret stash and opens his window. He lets out a sigh as he leans against the wall, staring out into the cold, night air.

"Says the .”

Kai snorts. "Shut up, idiot." When he hears someone humming outside, he looks around for the source. He watches as a boy walks with his bike, his blonde hair like a beacon. Kai sniffs, then exhales smoke. "in’ loser.”

"Who?" Taemin asks defensively.

"This kid outside my house- he's some high school student who decided to dye his hair blonde."

"Is he cute?”

"What?" Kai takes a closer look at the kid's face. The boy stopped all of a sudden and searches through his bag. He sighs and takes out a pair of glasses sliding them on.

"So? Is he cute?"

"God, this kid is a nerd- thick-rimmed glasses with a lame blue hoodie," Kai smirks and sets his beer down. "Hey kid!" he shouts, getting the boy’s attention. He stops and looks up at Kai. "Nice glasses, numbnuts!" Kai laughs and exhales as he does so. The boy smiles and continues to walk, ignoring him completely and seeming unfazed. Crossing his arms, Kai smashes his cigarette on the window sill and tosses it out the window. "Yeah," he admits. "I guess."

"Really?"

"I'm not gay."

"How do you know?"

Kai ignores that. "You'd like him." Taemin is into blondes, but not the small, skinny type. He likes more into blonde, tan, muscular men; sort of like his long-time boyfriend—the dude’s so built, Kai swears he has abs shooting from his . "So how's your boy toy?" Kai pauses. " Oh, I'm sorry- I meant Jonghyun."

Chapter 27: I can't found sequel 😭😭

I hate myself for reading this fanfiction so quickly! I need more waaah! Everything is so perfect. I love how things ended well even though everything was hella ed up :). I always love this relationships that go from hate to love! It just makes me happy to see them together after hating each other and also finding good in each other. That Jongin was bad at first and then changed into good/better; Sehun being all perfect/good and then showing his bad side showed that /everyone is good and bad at some point/ that nobody really is good or bad, but it depends on what you want and will show to others, also what others will see in you (like Sehun saw Jongin good, while his mother had him for bad *I guess?*)
I got very emotional everytime you showed those dark sides of life like depression, family abuse, bullying, suicide,.... It was all ed up, but with friends and "Jongin's love" it all just went on better. Everyone needs and should have someone like Jongin, Taemin, others who helped Sehun go through hard times. Jongin however had a horrible way of helping Sehun or Teamin. Like dude, they are all down and you yell at him and tell him to shut up. Dumb Jongin, but his character actually gave me a feeling like he was presenting /everyone/ who got in touch with a depressed person. In a lot of cases people don't know and understand how it is for those who experience depression and other, making them horrible at helping them.
However I am sure if I would NOT enjoy being around Jongin while depressed. His acting around Sehun and Taemin when they were down was not the best *sigh* and around him I would feel like I was wrong and bad, because of what I did. It would make me just feel worse probably. Luckily there was Taemin to help Sehun, since Jongin was just like *don't try helping, coz you don't have ideas how to. Just love Sehun that's all*. I am glad that at the end Sehun (+Teamin) were all good.
That switch from bad relationship with family members and later good was heartwarming. Sehun and Jongin's families were ed up to the point where I thought everything was going to just get worse, but the end was actually good. Jongin was good with his father, Sehun with his mother (already was with father.... so....). I also liked it that they accepted Sehun like he was and that his mother stopped trying to make him /perfect/.
Even though Sehun and Jongin changed a lot you kept his personalities like they were on the begining of the story. I liked Jongin's temper through the story and while reading I feared you might change him to the point where he wouldn't be the stubborn kid he was. Of course you didn't disappoint!

I don't get it how someone can ship Sehun with Tao, but after so many stories I just got used on it ahahhaha. Tao chilled too much when he came back with Kris. He knew Sehun was all down and just decided to show up like it's no big deal. He knew he was hurting Sehun and was just like "yea, okay, whatever,". I was deying everytime Tao was around Sehun, coz I knew things were only going to go down! Arghhhh~

Also.... This fanfiction changed me too... I literally said aloud around everyone else which was a miracle, because I don't really curse ahahah (only writing I guess hehe). Everyone just stared at me and gasped when I said it. I blame this fanfiction for making me a bad girl okay.

I will stop here. I could praise your fanfiction(s) to infinity though!
Stay safe author and hope to see man many good fanficions in future! Have a nice day and keep up the good energy! Loved you, love you and will love you!

Chapter 11: Okay I cried. Sehun hella reminds me of myself (I only didn't eat pills with alcohol in a bathtub yet). It made me so sad and hurt. Poor Sehun doesn't deserve any of this like everyone else. I like how you showed that /you can speand a lot of time with someone who is depressed, but won't notice it!/
I got a feeling like you (author) just poured your life in it! I don't know, but I like to write about things that I experienced and feeling that I feel, so I just got a feeling like you are kinda same? I hope you are doing alright and stay happy, because nobody deserves being depressed, cutting, abuse, suicide. It's cruel. Stay safe please and happy. Keep Sehun happy with Jongin and I hope that anyone else reading this also stays positive and away from that cruel world!
Love you~

Chapter 9: I feel like reading this fanfiction way to fast, but ijust can't hep myself. I am too curious to find out what will happen! I also have a feeling like i read this one before.... Idk just parts maybe? Maybe I just lirked a bit here ahahhah.

I love SeKai a lot again. Love their hate-"love" relationship. Also damn their parents (n Taemins) are hella horrible! Who would be like that to their own children?! I am glad they got each other to take care of.

However Jongin got a lot of influence on Sehun. He made him more "free" and I like it. Also I am not that up for smoking and a part of my mind is like "no", but why do I find them hot smoking?!

I see Sehun hated Jongin, but suddenly they hang around freely, buying food, taking care of each other. I like the change~

I should save some capters for later, but... I want to know what happens!

Love you author, take care and have a good day!
