Doctors are one of the most respected occupations in the world. They save lives and keep us healthy. When it comes to hospitals, they can be expensive considering your living standards but at Seven Life Hospital, anyone can come at ease.

Considered as the oldest medical center with over 50 years in Seoul, is run by none other than the grand, powerful Jung family. Sons after sons, daughters after daughters, they possess an extensive generation of doctors that have all become successful.

Presently, chairman Jung Boseok is a proud father to six children:

Jung Sooyeon, Jung Taekwoon, Jung Eunji, Jung Soojung, Jung Ilhoon and Jung Yerin.

Jung Eunji.

The cool and sociable daughter. At the age of twenty-six, she is a smart and meticulous neurosurgeon. Life seems to be going perfect but oh—she has no idea that her life is about to take a sharp turn.

An arranged marriage with Park Chorong, the daughter of Seoul’s most notorious criminal organization, The Onyx.

Said to be the masterminds behind assassinations of Prime Ministers, massive heists, gambling dens and drug smuggling, they have gone into hiding ever since more of their members were caught by the police.

But that doesn’t keep the lion of the pack, Park Joon Hyung still.

With a bounty of over 70 million on his head, this fierce, dauntless man is also a loving, doting father to eight children who were brooded into his warriors and made their way onto the bounty list.

Comprising of the three oldest children, they have already become masters in the field. Hands stained in blood, fingers dipped in gold, they are unstoppable.

Park Chorong.

She’s bold, sharp on the tongue and a skilled fighter. At twenty-eight, she has men on their knees and begging for mercy. Despite her chilling aura, this woman is soft on the inside and that is her true weakness. Still wishing to be complimented by her father, Chorong works her hardest to be respected in the clan.

But it seems that Park Joon Hyung has something else in plan.

Marrying her off into a family of doctors.

“You are to step down from all positions and come home. You will be getting married.” Joon Hyung announced at the monthly meeting with all of his children present. Already, there were gasps and looks at the table.

Of course, no one was expecting that. He was never a father who arranged marriages for his own children, let alone making it happen. But the leader has his own reasons and as much as he did not want it, this was for the sake of the Onyx.

“Father. Are you asking me to throw away all of my training to become a housewife?!” The daughter exasperated in shock, but remaining still in her seat. She could feel Junghwa and Sooyoung attempting to comfort her because they know how much she’s been trying to impress and gain acknowledgement from Joon Hyung.

But it seems that everything is being backfired.

“This is the only way to make you into a better person Chorong.” The man said, clasping his hands together. “All of your siblings are exceptional in every single way. Yet, I don’t know why you are still lacking behind. I want you to take this as a challenge because I know what your weakness is.” He leaned forward, eyes all on her.

“Marriage is the only way that you will become stronger, my daughter.”
