Chaeyeon’s POV

“Where’s Sakura?” I repeated
“She was rushed to the hospital and…” Hitomi hesitated 
“And?”
“Her heart is failing” Nako continued

All of the things I brought fell on the floor, “W-what..” did I heard that right? They must be joking right?
 

“Chaeyeon..” Hitomi hugged me 
“I…I need to go to her” I escaped from Hitomi and ran outside. I heard them calling my name but I don’t care. I need to go and confirm it because I know it’s a lie. Sakura… I know she will fight, for me, for her.

I don’t know how did I run on this far hospital. My feet feel numb and my thighs are in the sore. I entered the hospital and asked where is Sakura’s room.

“She is in room 701. Please go this way” she pointed the white hallway behind my back.
“Thank you”

“PLEASE GET OUT OF THE WAY!” some medical staffs caught my attention and they look like in a hurry. I walked away from the middle of the hallway and let them passed through

Until…

I saw them entered room 701

Sakura’s room

They left the door opened so I can take a peek on what’s happening inside.

I saw mom crying on the corner and keep calling Sakura’s name. The nurse tried to calm her down while she is restraining her to come closer to her daughter.

“HER VITALS ARE DROPPING!” one of the doctor assistants said 
“What!?” 
“WHAT’S THE CONDITION” Dr. Hyewon suddenly entered the scene. I think she didn’t notice me because of the chaotic situation “Prepare the defibrillator” she calmly said

I can’t see what’s going to happen next. I slowly walked away from that room then entered the small chapel near her room. I prayed for her safety even if I need to pay something more. 

I didn’t get any news about Sakura until the end of the day. I turned off my phone and hide where I can find the courage to face her. 

While walking with an absent mind, someone tapped my shoulder “Hey you dropped this” he handed me an old note
“Thank you” 

I opened the note and read the things that were written here. 

I think I found my courage.

Right, I still have to fulfill Sakura’s dreams. Her bucket lists.

Sakura’s POV

1 month and 27 days
 

Everything was blurry when I opened my eyes. What happened? I don’t remember a thing. I blinked trying to get a clearer view.

“Sakura!” from her voice I know it’s my mom
“Mama…?” 

She slipped something on my face and I can see her now. Dumb, I forgot that I’m not wearing contact lens.

“What… happened?” I asked
“You almost… die” she answered “I’ll call Dr. Hyewon to check you. I’m glad you are awake” she becomes teary-eyed “You don’t know how happy I am” 
She left the room and I’m all alone now.

“I didn’t die… yet?” 
 
 

What day is it? What time is it? I can’t tell. All the windows are shut, all I know is I’m in a white room. I’m back h
