“A figure came out of the water with its long hair dancing because of the wind, the moonlight giving it the color of diamond. It was hard to say what that thing was: it had a fish aspect, but walked with two legs. It had feminine expression, but with gills and scars in every inch of its body. Around it, the sea was revolt. The waves hitting hard the coast, but the strange presence didn’t look shaken by it. To be honest, it seemed like the humanoid was the cause of everything. 

And indeed, it was.

The figure wasn’t wet, which was abnormal for someone that came out of the water. It had an angry look, as if it was ready to fight anyone who dared to breathe the near the humanoid. In the moment it put its foot in the sand, the waves stopped and all that lasted was low tide. 

— Thalassa. — a voice said out of nowhere. The humanoid stopped, looking around and seeking the origin of the voice. You could tell it was angry about something, its breath hard and uneven. 

— You better have a good reason or I’m going to kill you. — The humanoid said. It’s voice was high pitched and weird, like it was coming out as a growl. 

— Nyx is off control. We need your help. — a pause. — But she’s hiding in the human world. 

The figure’s expression went from angry to worried. The day had finally come, it was expected.

— Where was the last place you saw her? —The voice of the thing began to become less animalistic and more human. Its body also began to change, skin emerging in the place of scales and gills disappearing.

— South Korea.

She looks at her passport, a small picture of herself smiling back to her. She frowns her brows, thinking how weird she looks now. The white skin, the blonde hair, the dark shade of brown of her eyes. The name written on it is Jung Jinsol. Funny. It’s the first time she’s using a Korean personality. 

Thalassa is waiting in line to make the check line of her fly to South Korea, her mind traveling through random topics, until the most important of them popped up again: Nyx. 

She always expected the other primordial goddess to do something bad about humans. When they were creating everything, born from Caos, she was against the creation of that race. She knew, somehow, how selfish and bad they could get and she didn’t like that at all. Nyx thought they would break the existence’s equilibrium. It took her too long to do something, but even though she was right about human beings, she wasn’t right in trying to annihilate them all. It wasn’t their fault. 

The goddess of the ocean breaths heavily, because she knows the cause of the human’s behavior is the minor gods own selfishness. They are related and connected in so many ways. But Nyx would never see that; in her eyes, the gods are perfect. 

— Next! — The attendant calls and Jinsol walks further, getting closer to the balcony. The woman smiles and takes her passport. She reads all the informations and the blonde takes it back. — You’re ready to go. Have a nice fly! 

The — now — girl nods and walks to the gate where her plane is going to be. She starts wondering who’s going to help her in that mission; Nyx wouldn’t be beat by Thalassa alone.”
