C2: It's Not A Nightmare
What Was Once ForgottenC2: It's Not A Nightmare
“Yooyeon wake up.” Jaehyun shakes me awake the next morning. Unfortunately it seems things weren’t a nightmare, or at least not one I could wake up from anyways.
I sit up slowly, the headache I was sporting from last night still present. Even after taking medicine for it in the middle of the night. I’m sure it had something to do with the fact that I erased my own memories but still you would think it would’ve stopped by now.
“You have class in an hour and a half, you’d better get ready.” Jaehyun pats my head. He turns to leave but pauses. “Do you perhaps remember Taeyong?”
I squint trying to remember if I did but nothing comes to mind. “No.”
He sighs. “We should probably avoid him then, he doesn’t really know much about your memory thing. He’ll freak out if he finds out you erased your own.”
I slowly nod. “Is he..?”
Jaehyun laughs. “He’s our friend, we became friends freshman year of high school. You, me, Taeyong, and Do-.” His laughter ceases. “Donghyuck.” He says quickly.
“Donghyuck?” I question him, I knew of him. He wasn’t in our grade? He was younger? What he meant to say was Doyoung, right? Or was I reading too far into this?
I didn’t question him any further. He wouldn’t tell me more anyways.
Once at the school I pause beside Jaehyun not sure if I remember the way to my classroom. I felt so helpless.
But my feet naturally moved beside Jaehyun’s like they knew where I was going. I end up in front of my class and sigh relieved. It seems that even if I don’t remember, my feet do.
Jaehyun rests a hand on my shoulder. “Listen,” He clears his throat. “Remember the note you wrote yourself?”
My ears perk up hearing him bring it up. “Mm.”
“Remember it while you’re at school today.” He says glancing into the room.
“Okay.” I murmur.
Jaehyun pats my shoulder, telling me to text or call him if I need anything. Only I didn’t know my passcode. I could only use it if someone called me.
I enter the classroom searching for my seat
