Hai~! Author-nim here with another story! I'm bringing back this series to finish it off once and for all. I realized after so long that I needed to explain how and why Joshua became the first traitor to the kingdom. Let's do this.
 

Characters:

Joshua: An orb user who controls the element of fire and his god is the dragon named Kris. He had been devastated after hearing of his brother's death, and wanted nothing more than to find out the truth of what happened. He wanted to find closure, and maybe, just maybe finally be at peace with things.

Sungcheol: The leader of the queen's guard and a jack of all trades when it comes to using weapons. He is Joshua's brother in law, with his older sister Linzy having married Sungjin. He held a lot of respect for Sungjin, even after his sister died after childbirth. After Sungjin's death he had been given one of Sungjin's swords and takes great care of it. He isn't one to ask questions but even he wanted to know why Sungjin had been sent out to gather the other members of the king's guard alone.

Jeonghan: A master swordsman who has Sungjin's other sword. He wasn't particularly close to the king's guard but he knew how special the swords were thus he takes great care of it. He never questioned why Sungjin willingly went to his death but with what had been happening in the kingdom lately, he was starting to question the motives behind everything. He keeps an eye on Joshua, knowing how affected he was when news of his brother's death reached the capitol.

Mingyu: A shapeshifting assassin who is the second youngest in the guard. He became a member of the queen's guard to follow in the footsteps of his mentor Wonpil, and now has come to regret the decision after finding out something he shouldn't. He swore not to let the secret out however, because it would ruin Joshua more than it already had. His animal form is a large black panther.

Dino/Chan: An archer who's sharpshooting skills are almost on par with Dowoon's. He strives to be the best, being the only person in the guard to ever get his hands on a crossbow. He constantly questions his own loyalty after Sungjin's death, having looked up to Sungjin even before entering the guard, but stays with the guard since he would have no where to go. He owns a German Shepherd dog named Hoshi.
